Really moving along nicely on this one Tony. Engine looks good as does all the wear-and-tear you're introducing. I imagine these guys led a rough existence in the field and you're giving it that sense of character for sure.

Small Update: Tracks are done. The instructions basically wanted you to glue the entire thing, but i dont see how id be able to really place them well with only using the time allowed by the glue. so i basically put one part in and let it set and did this for all the tracks. then i placed the second one and added the 3rd part and went down the line. as you will see this gives me workable tracks. First part glued in, then repeated on all Assembled tracks As you can see i have a full range of motion. Ive also primered 90% of the model. Waiting on a few parts so i can finish. Trumpeter forgot to include the PE and the decals and Megahobby is awesome enough to get me a new set. Still waiting on the engine part as well. Thanks for lookin'

Tools are going to really make it come alive for sure. Nice solution with the tracks, workable are always better, provides you with so much more flexibility IMHO when it comes to paint/finish/weathering.

Tony
I did not have time the other day to say how very impressed I am with your build, you certainly made me realize that I could have done a better job on mine. The plumbing and handles are outstanding, this maybe only your 3ed or 4th build but I can see you are going to be one of the greats if you stay with it.

I appreciate the compliment but please dont think like that. Your build was great and if you are happy with it then thats all that matters. you could have 10 people all do the same model and they would all come out completely different. Thats the beauty of the hobby. So please dont say that mine made you feel that yours should be any different. I like yours very much. with that said, that was extremely generous of you. I appreciate such compliments. I plan to do this until my hands or eyes wont let me anymore. and even then, i may just have some "abstract" models on the shelf haha.

Good wiring work there... think you can finish it before Armorcon, right? LOL suuuure, why not. depends on how well i can follow todds instructions lol. i think i could finish the model no problem and maybe with a basic dirt base, but if i go for the barn wall it may slow things down. i could always bring it without the wall.

LOLOL i have this AWESOME reference pic i found (its another tractor but has the look i want) so hes helping me with the process of rust and chipping and such cause ive never done it. you know todd, hes VERY detailed (which is awesome) so it may take me some extra time, but im confident it will come out mint.

What an engine, great job. The wiring looks fantastic, what size of wire did you use for the spark plugs?
