Disclaimer: Remember, I DO NOT BUILD GERMAN AIRCRAFT! The Beginnings... The kiit ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/download_zps04044a95.jpg) Out of the box this kit is impressive. Some good detail in the parts and the etched lines and details are not canyons or sinkholes. First thing is though, I am finding I just cannot stand molded in surface detail on the interior surfaces. So that just had to go away. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Beginning-5_zps9307879b.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Beginning-4_zps7e785d18.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Beginning-6_zpsbf00e184.jpg) With that out of the way the voices began to scream at me. So I rough cut some interior bulkheads. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Beginning-3_zps359b4b99.jpg) And the rest...well....it still is all together. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Beginning-1_zps79346799.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Beginning-2_zpsc3508a68.jpg) I did draw a bit on the fuse sides. Just in thought. I warn you, if you like Trumpeter kits, this may not be a pleasant build for you to watch. The voices are guiding me and they want me to be brutal. All comments, critiques, and criticism are greatly encouraged. Joe

Here we go again. First Cuts: The voices....they scream at me.......the voices....... It is their fault. I do not know what happened. The kit was fine and then well..... Good Lord here I go again. Before.... ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Beginning-2_zpsc3508a68.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Beginning-1_zps79346799.jpg) And .............after............. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/First-Cut-4_zpsdee41c5e.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/First-Cut-3_zps00dd5f42.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/First-Cut-2_zps234b03c4.jpg) Well nothing left to do now but finish the job. On to the tail section. Guess I will have to cut it out and do my thing there as well. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/First-Cut-1_zpsc7149031.jpg) The voices.................they call for more...................... Till the next time I guess........ All comments, critiques, and criticism are encouraged. Joe

Many thanks all for the encouragement.
She is going to be a challenge for sure. The voices were not appeased with the cutting I have done, they are screaming for more. We shall see.

Thanks my friend for tagging along. Well just an update to show you I have not fallen off the Earth and that I am still working on this. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-3_zpsd151f9ed.jpg) God the mess. What has taken my time over the last week. The wing framing. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-1_zps523ce0a4.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-2_zps6630e4d7.jpg) Slow and steady for sure but the results are interesting. All comments, critiques, and criticism are encouraged. Joe

Many thanks for tagging along on this one.
It is taking a while to get through the planning to the actual glue to plastic stage. As with when I started the Hawk, this is a bit out of the comfort zone for sure.

Today was a long day. I started my grand experiment at about nine this morning and crawled away from the bench at about six tonight. What did I accomplish? Not much. I spent most of the day building up and then tearing down. Here is the point where I walked away. I have a cast wingtip for the wing. I have my third or fourth (I cannot remember which) rendition of the wing ribs. I have replaced one of the spars for the wing and cut another to fit the wheel well. I have begun to mock out the framing to see how it will work. So in nine hours I have got this..... ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-4_zpsb49dd095.jpg) That is where I needed to crawl away. I just needed to put it down for the night. Maybe tomorrow. All comments, critiques, and criticism are encouraged. Joe

Joe, by chance you don't happen to practice acupuncture or voodoo do you? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ? That's a wing full of pokey pins you got there. I applaud your efforts and have great respect for your vision and skills. I am also very thankful it is you and not me that is hearing the voices that are sending you down this path...Whew! Rick!

I am truly sorry for the late response. I have no excuse, I just spaced it. Thank you for your kind words. However..... I did it again....... I did not like the way the wing frame was looking. It just was not coming together like I wanted it to......... so...... I tore it apart and redid it yet again. (fourth time) I also redid the wheel well. (third time) This time I did something just a bit different from the previous attempts. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-6_zps6e931267.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-7_zps9bf07ccf.jpg) Slotted so I can work with it. I can put it together or take it apart to add the detail or whatever. Much happier with this. Now for the overall show of what I have. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-9_zpscd48ba7f.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-8_zpsf7457c3a.jpg) And the leading edge is almost ready to work with. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/fightnjoe/bf%20109%20G-10/Wing-Frame-5_zps5d72cd5c.jpg) So there it is to this point. Hopefully I can move forward now. I am much more comfortable with the framing like this. I need to punch out the lighting holes and add the detail but at least I can move forward now. (I think) All comments, critiques, or criticism are encouraged. Joe
