Hello everybody, Here is my latest offering. I found the Accurate Miniatures B-25 C/D at the show in Indianapolis yesterday. My Uncle was a pilot in this squadron in World War Two. Sadly, he passed three years ago, so I want to make this as a tribute to him. Here is the box art: Here is the sprue shot: I hope to get a start on her this afternoon

Thanks guys. The kit looks like it is well engineered, so I don't expect many problems tiht it. We'll see.

Thankfully, no. I think I will only need to make the blast deflectors for the .50's. Then again, you never can tell .

I've had one of these kits in the stash for years. Very nice one. I look forward to seeing one built up finally. This will be a great tribute. Getting my popcorn.

Thank you all. I did get a little bit of time in today. I got most of the interior assemblies built and even got some zinc chromate on. I'll be getting some of the shading and detail painting done tonight. I can't remember the last time I was painting two days after starting a model Thanks for following

You are definitely on roll! Looking at those great wingy kits at the show really helped to get you inspired?

Wow...that was fast. You'll have this one done by the weekend at that pace Looks good. Can't wait for more. Really looking forward to see how the fit on this one compares to the AM kits I've built in the past. They've all been great. You are definitely on roll! Looking at those great wingy kits at the show really helped to get you inspired? You can only resist the wingy side for so long...feel the kerosene flow through you...bwaaahaahaa...

Thanks guys. I have been wanting to build one of these kits for quite a while. When I was ready, the kit had been discontinued (of course). When I saw it Saturday, and at the price ($35), I had to do it. Unfortunately, Uncle Al seldom talked about what he did. He did start to open up a little bit the last few years he was alive, so I did get a little glimpse of what the crews went through (it could not have been pleasant). I did ask him what his plane number was, and he told me he did not have a set plane. Apparently, the crews flew whatever planes were ready on that particular day. I am hoping to get a little more detail painting done this morning. If I do, I'll have more pictures this afternoon.

Moving right along on this baby. AC paint/build stages are definitely different than the 'normal' for other subjects but that doesn't seem to be slowing you down one bit.

Thanks guys. I have been getting a little more done on the interior. I hope to have pictures tomorrow. Bill, you are absolutely correct. I do not remember when I had to do so much painting before assembly. Right now, I am wondering how to do the intricate masking and painting of the nose art and cowlings. I am pretty sure it will come to me.

Thanks guys. Andy, I haven't looked online. I have the Squadron walk around of the Mitchell. From what I understand, most of the US planes were painted pretty much the same.

Hello everybody, I finally managed to get all of the interior painted and installed. After that, the fuselage went together pretty well. There are a few seams to clean up, but it's not too bad. Thanks again for looking in
