Saw this poor expired critter on the way out to a local shooting area this past Sunday... Just needs a drink of water and it will be fine.

Saw this earlier today. A result of the wild weather that goes with Springtime in the Rockies. There’s one for I dare you to build it😁

So you caught that on MY side of the river, eh? So that is where all my fish go...LOL enjoy Yup! ...and not the first time!!! For some reason, they tend to like something about that side. Typically, they're smaller over there, but numbers are better. On this trip...the haul was above average!

Prevailing winds around there blow insects and other baitfish food down and over to the Canadian side. The game fish follow the baitfish.

Makes perfect sense. I have heard others talk of water clarity, or lack there of, too. Up until last week, I have only been out on the Det Rv a few times, on charters. Our good friend, Carol...just bought a Tracker (16') that is better suited to the big water than my little boat is. Carol, my wife and I went out on the St Clair river Friday afternoon/evening, out of Algonac, and fished along the shipping channel just north of Russel Island. It was a nice, calm afternoon...the fish made ya work for em. We ended up with only 6.

I have yet to get a pic of this critter, I've seen quite regularly around here. Foxes don't tend to stand still and they certainly don't take their time getting anywhere. I knew it had to have a den somewhere close, due to the frequency of sightings. Well...I found her den!!! That hole at the base of the tree is only about 10' outside of the back yard...less than 40' from the corner of the house. I am happy to have the fox around (chipmunks are gettin to be too many again). I'm glad it's not coyotes!

An Italeri 1/48 Huey that flies! Modeled on the one in the second photo, both photos taken yesterday at a helicopter meet at our model field.

We have another fox den, off to the other side. This one has the little ones!!! Both dens were woodchuck dens. I prefer the foxes...because woodchucks don't bother chipmunks! 3 kits... Pics are crappy, but the best I could get...even resorting to shootin' through binoculars. This little one is eatin on whatever it was that momma brought back(1st pic)
