They have Dragon kits at your local flea market?? There is a vendor there that bought up a collection about a year ago. He had them all grossly overpriced so they just sat there with zero interest. I have slowly been buying them up at a good price since he just wants to get rid of them at this point and I am the only person that has even made an offer. There are only a couple left that interest me. |

Just so we are clear, this GB is for vehicles named Panther, not aircraft like this such as the Grumman F9F Panther?  Not that I’m planning to build another F9F soon… |

Alrighty then. After much contemplating I've decided to give this GB a shot. For me, there are 2 things to keep in mind. First, I have never completed a model in 6 months. But, maybe, just maybe I can pull it off with an armor kit. And secondly, I have only completed one armor kit in my life. That was a Tamiya T-34/85 back in the early nineties. About time I knocked out another. With that being said, I'm jumping into the pool here. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from the armor aficionados here. Most importantly, I'm looking forward to some fun modeling with our revivalist gang here. I'll be building the Tamiya 1/48 Panther Ausf.G along with some AM parts.  A few extras:  And some reference:  Let the games begin! |

Finally had a good talk with my stash tonight and this kit has volunteered to be my next victim. It will be my first time to build an RFM kit finally and I am really looking forward to have fun with you boys!  |

I have never completed a model in 6 months... I'll be building the Tamiya 1/48 Panther Ausf.G along with some AM parts. Hey, same kit! Although I'm going out of the box...that's a lot of aftermarket you've got there. Which scheme are you shooting for? I'm going to do 301 in the ambush scheme. |

Just wanted to be sure. In the past I've done a mass thread...and it wasn't mentioned above. Got it! Yes, where many of us previously met, it was standard for everybody to post their progress on the single GB thread. If one wanted to do a solo thread concurrently, that was up to the builder. |
