You started building at about the same age as I did. I’ve still got a few builds from those days I "built" between about 1964 and 1971. Most of those old Aurora and Lindberg kits met violent ends though. The couple of Tamiya kits I build survived because I felt like a rich kid when I got them for Christmas. I stopped in 1972 as I went into Sea Cadets, discovered girls did not have cooties and got my first 1/1 car to rebuild. |

Right, then Just looking at the Takom kit in the stash made me tired especially considering my plan for it. Instead, I think I'll go in this direction  with a big step in the wrong direction for a guy who hates PE as much as I do  How much of this will get used will be directly related to how obnoxious it is. I may get some indy link tracks for it but not if I decide to use the schurtzen plates. That's about it unless I get some other big idea that will make this grow |

Of course I'm in. And LOL since the last group build I participated in was ~10 years ago, Steel Cats on FSM and I built 2 Ausf A's. So, I also have not decided yet.

I remember that build,it was Tigerman,I still have the badge in my FSM profile I think,I can't remember what I built as it's in my now defunct Photobucket account.Maybe it was a whitewashed Tamiya Tiger?
Well since this is my first group build,I'm going to keep it simple with the Panther theme,it will leave it open for someone to get another one started in the future.

I know there is a really nice photo etch/detail set and friultracks in there. Problem is the stash is 230 miles away from me right now. Work+Montana=BS. I have built a couple of amusing hobby kits before my break and don't remember any problems with them. I'll be damned if I can't remember what kits I actually built😅 This kit looks very interesting to me. But I'd really like to do a ww2 kit. Maybe I'll do 2 kits. Damn armor bug! |

I was unable to complete my entry and, as such, I still have a half built Tamiya 1/35 Tiger Mid Production toted up and in my closet. But, some day dadgummit....... |
