Red 3 checking in! Squadron has their own ROOM in the vendors area. I'll be there Wed-Sat so any day is good for me. I will be volunteering at the "walk-in registration" Wednesday from 12pm-4:15pm.

Hey guys  . Hemodialysis SUCKS!! Leaves a fella feeling like a deflated ballon who just run a marathon one day and ready to climb Everest the next. That said given I will need to dialysis 3 times while there, it will be VERY HOT, and I still haven't locked down a chair time in San Marcos, treatment takes about 4hrs once started and if I would be required to travel to Austin or San Antonio or farther such as Dallas, I would be a HUGE safety hazard. Since I'm only a few weeks into this stage my body is still adjusting creating all kinds of havoc. I feel horrible for canceling, meeting people that I'm still connected to years later is almost as cool as building itself. PLEASE PLEASE in spirit of ARMORNUTII aka Perry RELEASE ALL INABITIONS, GO MAD AT THE VENDORS, find that treasure and relish in it. Hagel for a good price as a Ferengie would in the GRAND BIZAAR. STORM the available seminars in search of valuable information, SHARE THAT WITH THE WORLD.....or dipshits lije me who couldn't make it LOL. REVELL in the comeraderie that is the IPMS Nats my friends, it truely is a unique exoerience. I'll still be bouncing around here and maybe my body will allow me to attend 2024. I am so sorry guys, I want to meet each of you so bad. |

Sorry to hear about your medical situation, but I completely understand. My wife has Lupus and gets a monthly infusion of a drug concoction. The stuff is working for her, but for a day or so afterwards she says he was hit by a "Mack Train", which she says has the combined force of a train and Mack truck. Get well soon buddy!

Oh man, that sucks Perry. But yeah, dialysis is not optional when you are on the road. As Stik said, get better and maybe see you at a future Nats!
Okay to the gents (and ladies) who will make it to this year's Nationals, please carry the torch for the Armonutii. The Mob must be represented.

I'm planning on giving it a go. I mean, it's only 5 hours away. I'll probably just head out early Saturday morning and head back Saturday night. Need to find someone to watch the dog for a day though.

I was going to spend all four days there but was going to have my son and his girlfriend along with my wife and I, resulting in two hotel rooms but I think I'm going to tailor it back to two days with just my wife and I. It was just too expensive to stay that long. Still working on the details but I am planning to make it. I may bring a couple to display. Just gotta check on what's the latest the entries can be made and when the judging is.

Hey all. Got the truck set up for the trip (cleaned the inside, added some organizational things) and got set up to volunteer at walk-in registration on Wednesday afternoon. I'll get the models ready Tuesday. I'm so looking forward to going.

Well, it was a game-time decision, I am going to go to San Marcos. Planning on leaving Thursday evening and driving part of the way down, then arriving around noonish on Friday. Be there Friday and Saturday and drive home Sunday.
I love to meet any of you who are going to be there.
Can we put together a list of the attendees from MSC? Maybe we could meet at the show and go have dinner or drinks (or both)
