Wow!! That's frickin' cool Brian!! Alright gang. I know for sure that I'm going, chromdome35, armornutii, and Medicman71 are going. Who else is on the list to attend? I'm gonna start a PM once I get the list together and we'll exchange contact information so we can all meet up. I thought armornutii wasn't going to be able to make it. Yea sorry guys Armornutii is hanging at home. Coukdn't pin down a dialysis time nor confirmation that it was in San Marcos proper so on the side of caution I pulled out. Really wanted to be there, it is probably the coolest thing ever for a nerd like me. Have fun, BE SAFE stay cool, and spend for the stash like the end of the world is tomorrow. I'm filling out entry forms right now, decided to enter. After all, it's a rare thing that Nats are so close. I'll be dropping in to register and enter tomorrow afternoon and probably at least once more before Saturday.

I was just gonna show up at first and then I said.....what the heck....I'll enter as well. The chances of placing are slim but it's all about the participation. I've got 9 autos that I'll be taking (just finished the last of the repairs and last minute tweeking last night) and two Luftwaffe builds that I'll be taking.  |

Once a friend suggested a sushi joint while we were in Ohio, and I gave him an incredulous look and reminded him where we were, and where we came from (Hawaii). Why Dean, why? My friend Dean is such a Deeeeeeean. In any case, we didn't have sushi that night. I do remember being thrilled out of my mind that you could get tater tots just about anywhere though. I LOVE tater tots! Have a fun time boys, and have some BBQ in the name of us who could not be there! |

A special shoutout to Brandon Love the owner of squadron, what an AWESOME presence you have as a vendor. Thank you for supporting MSC by allowing us to leave MSC Business cards for attendees to pick up...MUCH APPRECIATED!!! It was a great time to be had by all that Brian mentioned. Lots of memory making today and yes....a big shoutout goes out to Brandon at squadron. Great guy and took time out to make a photo op with us as well as allowed us to put the MSC cards out on the table. |

Start her off with a few local shows, contests usually have a few wives sitting in a corner wondering what all the fuss is about.
I believe 2024 Nats are going to be in Madison Wisconson, this gives a full year to locate out of venue options for your wife to see while you are relishing in the glues sniffing community.
The Nats are probably the BIGGEST hobby event one can attend. Getting to meet folks from literally everywhere, sharing ideas, tips, and stories is pretty special. Don't even get me started on the vendors...holy smokes one could easily spend a second mortgage if not careful.
Plan now Kyle, check IPMSUSA.ORG for details aswell as hit us up here for info. Health and my higher power permitting I'm going to Wisconson. Hope to meet you there.

When the spouse comes along, it is always a good idea to allow time together at a non-model thing, and also to give the missus some “me time” - maybe have her drop you off at the contest while she goes shopping, or to the spa, or whatever the lady prefers.
2025 will be at Virginia Beach, and from what I have been told, is historically one of the biggest Nationals venues in terms of attendance, model entries, and vendor room size.

I know Trae really had fun. Thank you to the guys for making her feel welcome. As you saw, she's not shy, and it's better than the alternative. She has an auto immune disorder that makes her confused and bed ridden during a flair, you can hardly understand her when she does say anything. I'd rather her rattle on and happy than confused tired and crying.
Thanks for you patience guys, she's still learning the hobby and really enjoys it. That's a combo that's hard to find.
