Had some friends over. Pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and an experiment. BBQ meatballs, sort of based on Italian meatballs. They turned out excellent! Smoked in a mix of apple and mesquite chips.
I think he just invited us over guys!!

We gave to go boxes to all the guests and last night we finished up the last of the leftovers we had.
If anyone wants to make the trek to Mass I can always make more.

Hmmm. Good idea. Been awhile since we’ve made that. Probably about time.

Cooling off here in AZ - Chicken Souvlaki and grilled vegies tonight. One of my favorites... and healthy, go figure.

Nice surf n turf on the grill. We had a week or so below 100 so I was out grilling. We're back up 110+ for a week or so again so back to the stove. That pic made me hungry!

I need to get a new grill. One thing I was told when I moved to Florida was grills only last about 2 years due to the humidity. Yup that's true. My current one is around 3 years old and its time.

Although the legs are gone, handles jerry-rigged, and grates have been replaced...the kettle is still good. Got it before the turn of the century!

First pot of my Fall/Winter chili, never the same twice. Firsr time posting food if I recall too. Tomatoe base, spicy Italian sausage, grilled chuck steak, red, kidney, white, and black beans, secret spice mix. It also has a sweet onion, red, yellow, green bell peppers, jalapenos, and a habanero....wanted 2 but wife was like let's try one first. Besides grilling probably my favorite dish to cook. Oh and it simmers for 3 days .

A few skrimps (with honey/teriyaki glaze) and a ribeye, for the wife and I!!! Where is her share? She had about 1/3rd of the steak, 1 shrimp (decided she only like shrimp cold w/ cocktail sauce as an ap). We also made a batch of broccoli/cheese noodles. 10 years ago, I could have easily put away 2 steaks that size and doubled up on the skrimps....not no mo!

We did apps for dinner last night. I didn't get a pic of the chili-lime shrimp, but these lamb lollypops and hot wings were delicious.

Thanks and Yup, Kale, stuffing, and cranberry sauce.
The jelled kind with the can lines molded in! The best.
That is a hill I will die on, Canned, jelled cranberry sauce beats any other kind.

I love the stuff. We do a cream cheese and walnut mixture sandwiched between two thin slices of jellied cranberry. Just awesome.
