So someone said that a 1/1000 Gundam would qualify? I don't have any aircraft that would work.

Yessir, Sci-Fi is kinda hard to give an " exact" size on...I offered the builders discresion, while a " Warhammer 40k" figure would be Sci-Fi...IMO it wouldn't fit the principle of the BSGB. Bring the Gundam Mm71

Ok cool! I’ll post a pic in the morning.
There’s a possibility that I could get a large scale aircraft but we’ll see.

I'll throw my hat into the ring with this beastie. It's Wingnut Wings 1/32 Felixstowe F.2a late. I've had it in the stash for a few years now. Now seems a good time to crack the box. I may end up regretting this. First I have to get the Ta-152 across the finish line for the FW-190 GB, and the ground work for the Stuka. THEN, the Felixstowe! My goal with this has always been to build a ramp into the water in which to place this. We shall see

It’s time to place the subject in context. Stay tuned… Cheers Dave

Can’t wait to see this one from wingnut.

I'd like to add this to the BSGB - 1/6 5 cylinder radial engine. Caveat - no glue, no paint.

I'd like to add this to the BSGB - 1/6 5 cylinder radial engine. Caveat - no glue, no paint. Updated roster to add this. Andy's HHQ has a similar offering that I have been toying with buying. Being a retired A/P mech, I think it would be fitting to have in my display. Power forward Keavdog

As host of the BSGB I would like to hear some feed back as to how it is going so far. Has the long build time made it easy to participate or have you lost interest in the subject? I also want to thank everyone for their patience on the individual badges, life and other distractions have kept me from doing my do diligence and getting them available. So that being said ........lets bump this thread a bit and thank you all, I really hope you are enjoying the build.

So that being said ........lets bump this thread a bit and thank you all, I really hope you are enjoying the build. I like the idea of long term build like this one. It can be good for beginners, so they can participate at a slower pace. Those builders (like myself) who get short periods of working time at home can also participate. Or maybe someone who wants to spend a lot of time on fine details or adding extra stuff to a big kit can do so with less pressure. I would not want all GB's to be this long, but this was the perfect category to do it I think. Personally, it will allow me to do things I have never done before, or have done very little of so I will get more experience. Happy building everyone! - James
