As host of the BSGB I would like to hear some feed back as to how it is going so far. Has the long build time made it easy to participate or have you lost interest in the subject? I also want to thank everyone for their patience on the individual badges, life and other distractions have kept me from doing my do diligence and getting them available. So that being said ........lets bump this thread a bit and thank you all, I really hope you are enjoying the build. I'm glad it is long as I have had not enough time to work on it. Or much of anything lately. Certainly haven't lost interest. Will get back into mine whenever I can. |

I keep finding new stuff to add 🤷♂️ I see that LOL, I try to make sure the roster gets updated with each new addition, things get busy on the first page. Not a bad thing. I also need to get my backside in gear and do some work on my entry....I have a couple other items I'd like to put in the ring as well. |

Makes it easy to handle life’s interruptions without feeling like i have to rush a build or abandon it for the GB be a of time. Given the timeframe I haven’t been looking for badges yet, though i’ve seen a few cross the finish line so others probably can speak to that more. Having said that i will say strong badges are great for sigs and having a few choices is always cool, especially with the long timeframe as i plan to do at least 2… |

I have completed one (or four depending on how you look at it) have one started but stalled a bit while I decide which way to go with it, one longer term one that I haven't even touched yet, and the add on from this week that is almost done. I have no other plans for larger scale builds AT THIS MINUTE IN TIME but if something else that qualifies pops up I may add more since I will have the time with the extended deadline.  |

I am still planning on starting my Felixstowe. I just finished up my Ta-152H-0 for the FW GB

I appreciate the time frame,I made good progress on the Tiger,took a break with another kit,now I'm stalled on that one.Spring chores,vacations,and stuff piles up,with the long time frame,the pressure is off,I know I'll finish it up.

Well, I've finally made it back to the bench and the Kingfisher is moving along again. While I work on that I will go ahead and start work on the 1/24 Bf-109E. It's not a high parts count kit so it shouldn't take too awfully long. Famous last words.

Work has totally bogged me down on building. I’m just doing mindless kits that require no research or only short times at the bench but my Rolls calls to me from its shelf. I really want to get back on that

Hey I have that kit as well. Interested to see what you do with it Yes sir. It's for a friend of mine who is an aviation artist, Lonnie Ortega. He's given me several of his works and I'm just repaying him by building a Gee Bee Z and this engine. If y'all get the chance, check out his site, Lonnie Ortega aviation art. He was good friends with Dan Witkoff, Adolf Galland, Günther Rall, Saburō Sakai, Bud Anderson, and Tex Hill. He knew all these amazing people before they passed. I'm sure there were others but I don't remember. |
