Looks like you're making your way through these builds in good fashion with the seam filling and beginnings of painting Keith. That fuel barrel cart is going to put a nice touch on this whole diorama idea you've got going. Splendid work.

Excellent painting work! Hard to believe those are really 1/48? I always think they were 1/32.

Looks really cool with the different variations of RLM 76 Thank you! It’s pretty unusual to see RLM-76 on the upper wings. I love unique schemes like this

Another update. NMF work on the bottom done. First time I’ve ever done anything with a NMF. I used Alclad White Aluminum over Alclad Gloss Black. I’ll be interested in applying weathering techniques to enhance the details a bit.

kyledehart5 handiabled TJ thug626 - Thank you all! Down to the nitty gritty tonight. Gonna get gloss varnish on the A-7 and paint the stripes on the D-9. I’ll also get a few more parts glued up like the D-9 engine and cowl, A-7 fuel tank, and landing gear for both.

Man you straight up KILLED it with that paint on the D-9 and then again with the aluminum application. Some really sharp camo work Keith.

decals are all done on the A-7 minus the remaining bit on the swastikas. These Eduard decals have a removable film. The caveat is, you gotta let the decals cure for at least 24 hours before attempting to remove the film. Once the film is gone, I’ll do another layer of gloss varnish followed by oil washes. The D-7 got its first coat of gloss varnish last night so should be good for decals tonight/tomorrow.

Sweet!!! I really liked the Eduard's new decals and they came out really good on my previous build. I was surprised how easy it was too.

imgur.com/KKdvDLsIf you’ve not seen before. This is how you are able to remove the carrier film from Eduard decals.

Very nice. I appreciate the video showing the decals too. Haven’t seen those in action yet but they sure seem to look nice after they’re laid down.

No plastic on these ones. This particular A-7 will be pretty weathered, so scratches are welcomed. I actually went back and added more on the back end haha. If you want a more clean look, you can also use tape or chemicals to remove the carrier film. I’ll use tape on the D-9 and show that way as well.
