Hey Keith, I've been meaning to comment on this for some time - but that's been slipping away from me the past few months. This turned out fantastic. The planes are top notch and the kudos from Eduard is well deserved. Making a diorama is sorta on my bucket list of things to do, but never seem to get around to it. LOL Anyway, my only question is one that really doesn't matter anyway. I just wondered how these two would find themselves on the same airfield. But I suppose there are probably many hypotheticals - and then there's just the "I don't care, it looks cool." Again, great finish. I really enjoyed watching this come together and learning a few things along the way. I highly doubt they would have ever seen eachother at this point of the war. I primarily decided to have both because I thought it would be cool to show both generations of the Dora together. Originally when planning the build, the A-7 was going to be opened up etc and in the back, while the D-9 was going to be in the front closed up ready to fly. While building the aircraft though, I quickly realized I wanted to leave both opened up. Which obviously through my initial story/plan out the window

Along with plenty of other models they could still maintain in service. I was just wondering because they are painted from different Jagdgeschwaders. That's all.

Yeah, there would be little to no chance these two would have encountered each other in real life. I went with the schemes 100% based on aesthetics instead of what would actually have happened. My latest diorama I took the same approach. It features a Mustang from June 1944 and P-47 from fall 1944. I did try to make the two match initially by ordering appropriate decals for the P-47. Ultimately though, the decals I ordered were low quality and I preferred to have the nicer decals from MiniArt.
