Finally got started on these cabinet doors. My first try at a shaker style cabinet door. They are my favorite. How are you doing the rails and styles? Router, table saw? Looks to be a nice clean groove

Looks terrific! How many sets of doors are you making? For now just one. Im making the cabinets individually as I go to see what I want to customize as far as size and storage options. Probably invest in one soon because my brother is already asking me to make him cabinets now haha.

I keep debating about making a table to fit the opening on my table saw. I even have an Incra router fence that I got dirt cheap.

I have a few plans I got online. And my table saw already has a wood extension to the right. I will place it here. Ill probably go with a Rockler lift system. Make my own fence until something like yours pops up online at a low enough price I'm willing to pay for.

Finished this cabinet finally! It aint super pretty up close but boy howdy it'll do for my first go round with something like this. I let the boy help me paint it and reassemble after. Made up these quick mounts for some hand held tools. Future plans are to possibly remove the red tool boxs and replace with one full size cabinet with drawers to hold everything and more. 1 down 2 more to go. Ill put them here and will be done for now.

Love the mounts for the drills/ impacts James and that cabinet will come in REAL handy. Some good "lovin" goin' into this area man.

Looking good. I too like that idea for the drill holders - very cool. Funny how all tool boxes are sticker magnets

I think the plan will be another 2-Door 30 inch cabinet to the left, and some kind of blade/sand paper storage rack in between. Something like this.

Looks great! I am envious of the space you have to work with. I'm crammed in the basement between stored Xmas things and cat's litter boxes

loving the progress and the ideas. Your workspace is going to be one to be envied!! Thank you, Kyle! It makes you want to come and build every single day. Which is the goal! Looks great! I am envious of the space you have to work with. I'm crammed in the basement between stored Xmas things and cat's litter boxes Thank you! I would say Im lucky.. but I had find a house with enough rooms and enough extra space that the wife would leave the garage alone and Im still sitting under neath and next to holiday decor and other stored crap she will never touch. So its a hard fought for and well earned space haha.

Your sketched in plan looks very similar to the storage addition I've planned to go under the wing / peninsula of my model bench, but drawers instead of doors. Between the weather and cost of lumber I've been putting it on the back burner but now that I'm back from New Mexico I'm wanting to get started on it. I had planned to get the plywood this week but my truck had other plans. Hopefully it will be out of the shop tonight.

This is so cool and the fact that it is built and not bought just adds to the coolness of it all.

Plus this way the garage is my space and I can do as I wish. This is so cool and the fact that it is built and not bought just adds to the coolness of it all. Thanks Dean!

It has two, we replaced one about 4 years ago. I got the truck back last night about 10 min before the shop closed for the weekend, so I can go lumber shopping today. It is only supposed to get to 95 today so yay...

Plan was to build another cabinet on the day off. Wife had other plans so we were out all day. When I came home I tried to get to work but realized with all the projects going on the garage and work areas were a complete disaster. I spent 3 hours cleaning, organizing and shuffling things around. This was as far as I got. But at least the garage is picked up and better organized!

Mom came to visit the past few days so no work has been happening. I did however take my niece to Daiso for some back to school supplies. I found these vertical tape holders which I took a $1.50 gamble on. Turns out the hold hold 3 rolls of Tamiya Masking tape perfectly. Im trying to decide how to store all the supplies and I plan on building some form of tape dispenser on top of the boxes I have. If not, a few of these with different sizes in them will work great. Just not for the larger 40mm tape. THey are so cheap I think I want to grab a few more for other tapes I use, like the stretching tape for curves. Also may try to alter it for wire too. Oh man......you've gone and done it now. I'll be picking one of these up TODAY!!! Thanks for that James

This weekend I had plans on finishing my cabinet and making some other small things. However my wife informed me that her job was switching her to a full work from home position. I had to put together shelves and standing desks and install al the other office crap she needs in our loft space. She left to take our son to a family thing I stole 30 minutes to make this quick drawer/monitor stand for my desk. Needed to raise the monitor a bit plus not waste the space. Ill add simple drawers later. Keyboard and mouse go on top while working, which opens up the work area, and I have more storage space. Since I dont want to pull these out all the time, I will use it for extra supply storage. Tapes, paint, etc.
