I’m digging this. Paint looks great!👍 Those gassers for the 60's and 70's had some wild paint jobs. This will fit right into that. Thank you both!!

What did you use for the blue body paint? Sorry Brent, almost forgot. Here’s the paint. Got it from Robot Kai when they were having a sale on Gaia paints. I’ve decided I really like the entire Gaia line I’ve tried so far.

Nice mix of metallics on engine and drivetrain. Thank you. One of my favorite things to do is use different metallics for contrast. I will always use some artistic license there especially if things tend to be the same color.

Oh my goodness. Looking at that chassis made some many memories come flooding back from my youth when I built that. Excellent work and nice trip down memory lane for me.

Oh my goodness. Looking at that chassis made some many memories come flooding back from my youth when I built that. Excellent work and nice trip down memory lane for me. Thanks a bunch!! A classic kit from AMT. perhaps not the greatest one ever but I’m really having a blast with it…but will I be able to get the nose to work. lol.

These gassers look great with those pie crust slicks on them. Progress is coming along well buddy. I can't wait to see what you're going to do with the car body!

Those wheels and tires are a x force design beautifully printed by Josh over at VCG resins. Once I saw them in the parts box I knew they were what I was looking for with this one.

It's amazing how much detail you can bring out just by using slightly different shades. What do you use? I've been using Vallejo metal color. Excellent choice of rims too. Those are perfect.

And I love metallics so I am constantly buying new ones to try out. I use a ton of the Mr. Hobby super metallic line, Tamiya, Gaia and jumpwind. I do have some Vallejo metal color too. I like it much better than their normal paint.

Despite the best efforts of my work, I have stolen a bit of bench time. Very small update. Interior done and installed, complete with fingerprint. I can't get out of my own way sometimes. Lol.

Sucks that the finger print is on a convertible… where it can be more easily seen. Any chance you can lightly sand it, mask the surrounding areas and lightly respray it?

I must have had a drop of CA on my finger. I normally check on a rag before I go assembling anything on a body but I didn’t think of it last night. Good news is the windshield frame and everything is still separate so I think I can do this without too much difficulty.

Doesn't that figure? I've lost count how many times I have done that. I'm sure you will have it corrected quicker than I could type this. I really dig that metallic blue up close!
