Gawd I remember having this kit. Makes me want to go out and get another. She looks super cool. I love the stripes, they look very 80's. Thank you!! I wanted a full on 80s look for this thing. It’s…not a great kit but if you get a big enough hammer you can beat on it so it resembles something. Lol Kyle, it’s coming along nicely. In a way, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one way behind on the group build😁. As for your hood issue, the mini magnets work well. I know the car is already painted, making it much tougher to disguise them. I molded them into the trunk of my Demon build. I can turn it upside down and the trunk still stays closed. They are a lot stronger than most would think for their size. I got like 500 of them for about 10 bucks on Amazon. Anyway, this has come so far from the purple pond where it sat months ago, keep it coming! Now, if I could make some progress myself Thank you!!! Mini magnets. You’re so right. I’ll have to see if I can find anywhere to sort of hide a couple. I bought some tiny ones for another project that just might blend in. Don’t know why I didn’t think of those yet. But yeah I’m still chipping away at the group build! I will finish this. Lol. |

And this one FINALLY rolls over the finish line. This kit…it’s not an easy one. Most people would probably call it a bad kit. I never really feel that way myself. I had my own share of issues and screw ups with it which made it more challenging then it should have been. Also if you ever build this one just throw the instructions out. Definitely early AMT style instructions at their most vague. Also a great kit if you need to make a fresh batch of sprue goo. Plenty of flash to reuse. Lol. It didn’t help I had some out of town work trips and general life things that got in the way but I’m glad to move this to the done pile. More photos later. I’ll get some glamour shots after I wake up.   |

Congrats on getting it across the line Kyle. The color shift works really well with the curves of the Vette. I agree, the VCG wheels look great on it. Now I have to get mine across the line also.
