Doesn't that figure? I've lost count how many times I have done that. I'm sure you will have it corrected quicker than I could type this. I really dig that metallic blue up close! I consistently mess up my own work so used to it by now. lol. As soon as I get another spare minute I’ll mask this off and hit it again. Thank you! |

Those nasty fingerprints always on places where you doint want them I know everthing about it 😄 Nice progres on the gasser.

That's a pretty easy fix really Kyle. It's right up top where you can sand it and mask off for the re-paint. Sorry it happened and all but I already know you'll get past this obstacle and look back on it as a minor distration.

Despite the best efforts of my work, I have stolen a bit of bench time. Very small update. Interior done and installed, complete with fingerprint. I can't get out of my own way sometimes. Lol.  You could always use it as a signed piece now😁. Sorry to hear about your mishap there, at least it is fixed fairly easily. Looking forward to the comeback. |

You guys have underestimated my abilities to f*** stuff up. I dropped it while touching this up and tried to catch it with my airbrush. Paint everywhere. 😂😂 I need a vacation I think. Update but no photos as yet. I did get the black base coat back down for the colorshift. Had some big junk fly in there so I’m going to wet sand and touch up just so it’s smooth enough to paint over. Then we’ll be ready to button this thing up…again. Lol

That always seems to happen to me as well with trash of some sort getting into my paint. I always seem to be able to sand it all out but it’s time consuming. Will be watching for the pics Kyle.

Its tough. I paint in a pretty old building. I vacuum it out including the ceiling and exposed wood but it’ll never be a great spraying environment. I don’t get too worried about it and I don’t paint things black too often. 😂 |

Tinkered on this while waiting for the silver leading edges to dry on the F14. Trying to get caught up on projects now that work isn’t QUITE as busy. Still not getting much time but at least a little here and there. Built the roll bar out of a kit piece and some solder. Not perfect but good enough for this old AMT kit. Now trying to figure out if I can get the flip nose to work. Definitely not with the kit parts but that’s ok.  |

It’s up on 4 wheels now and I thought I had the hood in a good spot but then the factory hinge piece broke. 😂 We’re not giving up yet but this is fast on its way to being a lift off hood instead of a flip nose. Going to play around with some things before I let it defeat me. Good to see you back at this. Thank you. The end of this one is a struggle. But I’m continuing to try to beat it. |

Here’s where I ended the mornings work on this. One large side decal applied in many pieces. Broke apart but I wanted to use it because it’s such a wild look so I pieced it back together. It’s not perfect but we’ll live with it. Got the hood to work but I have to rig some sort of a way to hold it back when it’s closed. It wants to slide forward off the firewall. Have to sleep on it.  |

Kyle, it’s coming along nicely. In a way, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one way behind on the group build😁. As for your hood issue, the mini magnets work well. I know the car is already painted, making it much tougher to disguise them. I molded them into the trunk of my Demon build. I can turn it upside down and the trunk still stays closed. They are a lot stronger than most would think for their size. I got like 500 of them for about 10 bucks on Amazon. Anyway, this has come so far from the purple pond where it sat months ago, keep it coming! Now, if I could make some progress myself
