Those little 1/72 Dragon Armor kits look great Marc. I'm wondering if the later releases have any detail on the back side of the tracks?

There's not much there. Just enough to take a wash (if you dare on the DS material!). Still beats any sort of indy-link option, though. Hahaha

Very nice T-34 Dupes! You’re getting a nice family going there… one can easily build a dozen T-34 with all the sub variants out there…

Nice! I’ve built several Tamiya, Zvezda, and Maquette T-34s in 1/35. Still haven’t built any of the Dragon ones in my stash yet…

I actually really liked the Maquette T-34! Think I have some AFV Club kits as well. Don't know about the Rye Field or Miniart offerings.

The Maquette kit that I built was a 1941 STZ variant… but they provided the wrong turret in the kit for that factory, so I replaced with a correct resin one that I luckily happened to have... And it is based off of the original T-34/85 kit, so lots of surgery was needed. Mine fought me much of the way, but in the end turned out really nice… 🤨 I had something of a love/hate experience with that kit… I ended up using the Maquette turret on a Tamiya hull to backdate that into in early 1942 variant based off of a photo.

I think when I did my Maquette kit I knew nothing about T-34 variants and "proper" parts. I built what was in the box!

Those were my early Tamiya T-34 builds…

Two weeks since my last completion? I need to start picking it up! This is the Revell 37 Ford Coupe kit. Went together pretty well with a bit of guesswork in places, and strategic hiding of things in others. Went with one of the Vallejo acrylic shifters - I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked out.

Love the Coupe...the colour came out fantastic, and really complements the shape and chrome work of the kit. That interior is awesome.

Thanks guys! I can't believe that paint was sturdy enough to hold up to clear coats, decal setting solution, handling...anything. The Tamiya LP-1 "primer" coat must be to blame for that.

What's next...probably the 1/700 ship I'm working on. Hmmmm.

Another one across the finish line. I need to be done with it before I break something else, anyway. 1/700 LCS-1 from Dragon. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has build this kit - there was some weird stuff going on with how the superstructure and hull mated up. 1/700 is small!

Got a show on Sunday - sticking a fork in this one as well. Granddaddy Gundam! MG RX-78 3.0. Used the Delpi decal sheet, which was fantastic. This is a bit of a hand grenade, but sure looks the part. Not going with much weathering - just a full panel lining. Picked up a cool photo backdrop, but it's really sized for HGs.

The US Navy is not very happy with the ships. The ordered two different design types, and one type had its orders cut. The oldest ones are already being retired, after fairly short service lives. The multi mission modules haven't worked out as intended and one of the types was cancelled as a result. If people think that the F-35 program is bad, the LCS program is much worse.
