So back in the day (i.e., the dawn of this forum!) I used to keep thread logs of everything I built. It helped me keep track, and also provided a good bit of motivation. Some of those logs are still viewable, but the whole photobucket fiasco has rendered a lot of them incomplete, sadly. Now that the forum is back - in a big way! - it's time for me to resurrect this. I certainly could use the help on pushing me over the line on a lot of the projects I have going (and I have a lot going, trust me). Without further ado! #1 1/48 Tamiya Panther Ausf. Thanks fellas! I think this is really what I need to get me to decide builds have crossed the finish line. I often spend too much time staring at something unable to pull the trigger on "it's done".

Photobucket... A pox upon all of their houses!!!! They ruined so much work on so many forums...
Nice to see that some of your old photos survive!

Adding another gundam build tonight - the Zaku II F2. It's a high grade kit that I left in the plastic colors, but altered with lots of clear coats and detail painting / weathering in between layers. I've got a whoooooole raft of Zaku variants to build!

Three great builds! Do you still dabble in Gunpla?

Looks like you’re cleaning house on these builds of yours Marc. I’ve never seen you build a GI dam before but after seeing these I definitely think you’re on a good roll with them.
That leaves the Panther. Dude…..I can’t believe that’s a 1/48 scale build man. Perfect paint and weathering. I’ve got a couple of 1/48 scale armor subjects (one of which is the Suyata Panther) and this is a good inspirational build.

Dupes, your work has always been crazy nuts awesome, so it's not hard to recall from your posts. Post em and let's get back up to speed, I say!
P.S. There were tons of incredible work in the past that we need to shake out of the cob webs and resurrect, so let er rip, Bro!

Three great builds! Do you still dabble in Gunpla? I sure do! Piles in the stash and in the build queue. I have a ten year old who builds far more (and far faster) than I do...but I'm trying to keep up.

Oh man, I would be all over that. I have soooo many. It's over a hundred. I would love to reclaim some shelf space (and get them all finished)! Thanks on the Panther. I definitely like the camo, and am fairly satisfied with the weathering. Time to move on, though. Too many other things to build.

There were tons of incredible work in the past that we need to shake out of the cob webs and resurrect, so let er rip, Bro! Thanks, Steve! That means a lot. I'm trying to get back into a finishing routine - I used to have a pretty set process, and I felt like I knew what I was doing. Now, I'm lucky to hit the bench once or twice a week, and I get towards the finish and a bunch of "?" bubbles pop up around my head. I need to fix that.

Beautiful work, dupes! Yowsa! Thanks buddho! There's a lot more coming. I have a couple of other Gundams I'd like to get off my bench. And a Ma.K suit. An SA-2 Guideline launcher. An MQ-9 Reaper. What else is near the top of the pile...

I had hoped to get a non-robot off the bench first, but this won out. My phone camera is pretty terrible...lots of juicy details getting swallowed up in the compression/lighting/balance/whatever. Definitely not what I'm seeing with my eye (which is a bummer). Another Bandai kit, custom Maxion markings.

Two more off the bench today. The Kinetic (Skunk Model) MQ-9 first. This thing is huge! Massive wingspan. Unfortunately all of the cool Texas markings are underneath - tried to get a shot. The other kit is an Aoshima HTV - a "real space" subject. A small Japanese space force resupply vehicle for the ISS. It was pretty neat...certainly different!

Great stuff - and cranking out the builds. How was the Reaper? I've got that one in the stash.
