Brilliant!! Great work on the ship. And granddaddy Gundam never gets old! I need to build one of those sometime. Such a classic. I like your photo backdrop too.

Nice Gundam Dupes! Good luck at the contest. Remember to set your Gundam with a "Hakuryoku Anime Pose" (Super Powerful Anime Pose)! My Gundam! Is Fight! Attack the Zeon fortress A-Baoa-Ku! The LCS program had a bunch of problems, a lot having to do with trialing untested equipment and concepts. But one problem they should have foreseen was using aluminum for the superstructures. Still, they were cool looking ships which kind of set the "fashion looks" of current surface warship design.

Not very fast with the finishes since the contest...work is ramping up for the season. Got some stuff coming down the pipeline, though! This is the Wave 1/20 Rally Pawn from the Maschinen Krieger universe. I love these suits.

Very good looking finish! And it’s great to finish a kit in memory of a club member who wasn’t able to do so.

Next up! I inherited this ICM Seehund kit from a local club member who died. His wife called me up and told me that his stash was now my stash. He had clipped and glued a few parts, but never got to finish it. I hope I did what he would have wanted with it. I haven't had the opportunity to do this yet but I can see where you'd have the thoughts of finishing it as he would have. Some beautiful work on this unusual subject Marc. Impressive work man.

I know right??!! My son JUST got interested in the hobby and we bought an Eduard B-17 together and now..........he's going to leave for the military. It's a good thing over all but I'm hoping that once things settle down for him in a permanent duty station that he'll pick it all up. I may bring up the idea of him joining this forum if that'll spur him on.

Apologies all around for my lengthy absence...my job is exponentially more difficult from May - September than the rest of the year (seasonal business). I haven't had a day off since before Memorial Day. I'm past the peak, now, but am due to lose my summer employees over the next two weeks. Not quite out of the woods yet. I've been sticking a few parts on things here and there, but haven't finished a model since the Seehund. I'm REALLY hoping to change that soon. Going to try to focus on some bench time this weekend if I can. Shoot, I've got some group builds to work on!
I feel woefully behind on everything that's happened on the forum. I don't think there's any way I'll ever catch up, but I'll try to stay current, at least. So much outstanding work.

Hopefully you can get some time soon at the bench and just some time to RELAX. Sounds like a stressful deal. Take care

I was just chatting with Joe not long ago about you and he said your summers are crazy busy. It sounds like this one was no exception. Don't stress about here you have your hands full.
