I agree with Joel the stitching on the steering wheel looks awesome! You've tackled the intricate detail throughout the entire build perfectly!

Yep, you can barely see the mirror, so it must be a match. Awesome steering wheel and dash work!

Paul, The instrument panel really looks good, but holy Cow the steering wheel actually looks like you found a way to shrink the real one down to 1/12 scale. I just can't get over how the stitching looks. Must be how the light reflects off of it, but it looks like separate stitching not just bumps on the wheel if you get my poor attempt at describing how it looks to me. As for the mirror, ok, all of our it looks just fine or close enough, just wasn't good enough for you, and a reshoot proved us wrong and you right. Looks absolutely a perfect match now. joel Thanks Joel. I think the stitching stands out because the light is hitting it right causing a reflection. I agree with Joel the stitching on the steering wheel looks awesome! You've tackled the intricate detail throughout the entire build perfectly! Thanks Brent Yep, you can barely see the mirror, so it must be a match. Awesome steering wheel and dash work! Thanks Steve I added the hoses for the oil and fuel into the side pods. The belts are done. I also added the dash and steering wheel. Then I mounted the nose. Then I put the engine cover on and posed the doors for a glamour shot. There is still a couple of small details yet to do, but it is essentially finished. When the lighting in my outdoor photo booth is right, I'll take more pics. 1665

Paul, I'm biased as I said at the start that the Porsche 908/3 is my all time favorite Porsche 3 liter car. And you more then did it justice. Just a perfect model rendition of the real car. The last of the plumbing makes figuring out is it real, or is it a model nearly impossible. Can't wait for the glamor shots my friend.

The addition of the oil and fuel lines is making my eyes wander all over the place taking in all of the engine compartment detail! Superb teaser shots!

I took some more this morning in better light. Just absolutely brilliant!! Another stunning build of a beautiful and iconic race car. The detailing, paintwork and decals are top notch. Awesome work. All of that detail is why I'm addicted to MFH kits. Wow, that’s gorgeous! Definitely a museum piece. Ben Thank you Ben More pics this morning in better light. But It's still not finished. I went to my model club meeting last night and got called out for not including a couple of pieces. So I'll be adding them in the next couple of days. In the right sidepod there is a large empty space. That is where the spare tire goes. And at the rear there is a manual jack that needs to be added. But here are some more pics. 1766

This is nuts. No smoke blowing, but when you are taking some of these pics the lighting makes it difficult to decipher whether this is a real rig or the kit. The realism is astounding, Paul, Bravo!

Paul, I just loved the full journey from start to finish when she crossed the finish line. As I've said many times your workmanship and skills are more then a match for any MFH kit. The results simply speak for themselves.
Well done my friend, very well done.
So what MFH kit will cross your workbench next? No matter what it is, I can't wait to follow your build thread.

I was actually toying with the idea of rewarding myself for finishing off so many pre-started builds by starting a new one...LOL

Uhhgg, this looks soooooo good. For sure my favorite of your builds. The fact that you took something of this quality to a group meeting and they said you are missing something is scary haha. You must have quite the group of builders. Great job, Paul.

You must have quite the group of builders. Great job, Paul. Thanks James. The person who brought up the missing spare and jack is a fabricator/restoration mechanic who got to work on Jerry Seinfeld's 908. So he knows what he's talking about. Thank you Ben So with the completion and installation of the spare and jack, this build is officially done. Many thanks to all that followed along and gave their encouragement. 1993

After catching up a little more on this build, I just have to say that I don't think there's much more detail can be added to this build except the fluids in the engine, transmission, differential and brake systems to make this a fully operational vehicle. Simply amazing work going on around every corner of this car.

Well Paul, you did it again.
Thank you for posting those lovely chassis shots. I'm just starting a very modest build of a 907, your pics fill in a lot of the blanks.
Great work as always, cheers mate.
