Thanks, Leon . I think so too - I'll just add the black paint and then try to see if there's anything else that I could do. I also will be screwing the tank to the base - I will take the turret off and screw downward, and then cut the protruding spiky bits off the bottom of the base with my Dremel. -Oliver

this might be on hold for a couple of days, as I will be helping my little brother with his 1st dio, and also due to the fact that I can't seem to find any black paint (*sheepish_grin*).
I also just realized that It would be a good idea to make a plaque for the front with a title, etc - for the title, I'm thinking of "Against All Odds" possibly, as the tank is extremely battered yet still operational.
I will then probably drybrush the highway to give it some more colour variation, and then call it done.

Fantastic build!!! Are you really 14 years old? You are doing far better than what I did to my kits when I was your age. Keep modeling!!!

Thanks guys! I'm really happy about how it has turned out - it's much better than my previous builds by quite a few degrees. @ nemo - I'm really glad the moss turned out so well. thanks! @ Andy - Yep, I am 14 (although my birthday is in april soonish ). I'm glad you like it . @ Gary - Thank you! magnifantabulous, eh? never heard of the before , and google search onlly came up with 3 results for it LOL. I just got some super glue, so i am now theoretically able to finish, but i have a big homework project to finish (supposed to be working on it atm LOL), as well as having a busy week (going to the hobby shop, etc), so i may take a few days to complete it -it will be done by friday though! -Oliver

I've just added the plaque, and think ill call this one done . Pics: Thanks for following this build and giving me tips, advice, and comments the whole way! I'm (gradually...) getting better . I think that my next build may be this: I hope that, if its still in stock, I do as good a job as one done here . -Oliver EDIT: I just remembered that if. I bring it to art class, ill get bonus marks - would anyone have suggestions for transportation?

Nice work Oli, and the light box was a good idea for pics, especially of the model with out base.
