Hey there friends, thank you ! I have pics of the barrel mixer for you, I hope you like it so far ? I didn't want to let it disappear entirely under a massive blob of cement... I'm almost there I think, pigment fixer will be airbrushed on to seal the pigment powder I applied after the 'cement' mix (Light dust + filler + a bit of black + water). Best regards, Guy.

Next to build and paint is an old wooden wheelbarrow. Again cement will be involved.

wow Guy. That looks perfect. Loks like one of the mixers I used back in Germany. The added built up cement under the drum is right on. Great eye for detail bud.

Thank you Rob, the built up cement was a must do to obtain the correct look. This small project was great to do. Now I have to focus on the wheelbarrow, next is cement on wood...

I'll be needing to do a lot of little things like this for the Loki base. This is just what I need for ref and inspiration when it comes time to work on these little details.

The old Dodge gets filled up slowly, barrel mixer, shovels, a couple of planks... The "wood" was made of plastic rod and plastic card, carved with a file and painted Buff, then raw umber oil paint and mostly removed, later weathered with Light dust pigments... More soon... Best regards ! G.

spud, the wood was child play, take plastic rod, scratch it with a file, spray it buff, dab it with raw umber and remove most of it (texture appears now), weather with pigments. Thanks mate !
I'm glad you like the digga's fella !
Thanks Rob, I'm as slooooow as a snail ...but I think we're still moving eh ?
johnt, thank you, I'm in very talented company here so I just don't have a choice ! This is a most inspiring site !
