Wow that's a lot of encouraging words my friends. This project is not done yet, after the barrel mixer, planks and shovels now it's time to build and finish an old wooden wheelbarrow. There won't be place left for it in the trunk but I'll dump it somewhere in the diorama later on... The build is almost finished, I hope you like the thing ? Best regards ! Guy. ps tomorrow painting of wood and rusty parts...

Hello Guy, You are going like a snail Looks like a 'rocket-snail' to me ! I think to know how much time it costs to paint this 'standard'... Very nice ! RESPECT ! and superb to follow ! (is the windshield still movable? can you take a pic with the windshield up? , maybe it looks better that way : composition you know...) Greetings, Gert

Hey Guy, There’s still plenty of room in there for the wheel barrow. We old Bricklayers would cram our trucks full when moving to a new job site. You could turn the wheel barrow upside down and have it “hooked” on something piled up in the bed.
Great build. I really like it!

Thanks Rob, the wood effect was done with Buff, followed by a thick oil paint wash and removed for 99%. When dry I gave it a very transparent misting with Buff again. I then worked the rust effects, and the old cement.

Thanks multicam ! Ok, the wheelbarrow is almost done now so I can show a new impression of the trunk. The wood was also given some subtle green washes here and there to 'connect' the items more. Don't mind the rusty chain, it isn't finished yet... This is just a composition, nothing is definitive at the moment. More items coming up, there's still room for more ! Best regards ! Thanks for your visit fellas ! G.

Looks awesome Guy. Hey, you are probably already thinking this, but what about some chain stains underneath where the chain is sitting? This is a common phenomenon that I have witnessed Just thinking aloud here

Love the layout....well I basically love it all Guy. All the small details stand out in this model. Yeah some smaller debris type stuff, trash, in the bed floor under the mixer etc will top her right off.
By the way, how did that demo go for you !!

bj, thanks mate, your words mean a lot to me.
multicam, that's something interesting indeed, rust stains of the chain, good thinking. My head's spinning, all those little but important details ! Thanks for thinking along with me.
Rob, you're right, small debris, rubbish, fallen leaves etc. will be added as a finishing touch. The demo, right sir, it was a SUCCESS ! People weren't familiar with your method and as I proceeded they just couldn't believe their eyes ! In less than half an hour I finished a rusty oil barrel. We all had big fun and I'm sure more Belgian modellers will start experimenting "The Rob's Way". I said at least ten times that all credits are for you, being the guy who studied and developed this ultra realistic rusting technique. Yeah, Rob Ferreira alias Scratch mod will be googled lots of times my friend !
spud, thanks mate !

Your Very Welcome Guy.
Just accrued to me, Buckets!! water buckets are always needed with Masonry work. If you have some buckets in the parts box, or know of a kit you can steal them from. Finish them like the drum on the mixer.
I still can't get over how real this looks. Most defiantly my favorite build Guy.

Hi G, this is my favourite kind of modelling, minatures as an art form. It is just superb, such outstanding realism and beatifull (to me) subjects! Hope you don't mind but I have to save these pics on my hard drive for future study. Brilliant!

bj, buckets yes of course, good thinking ! It's a way to add a bit of extra color too. I'll see if I manage to make a couple of them. Today I will make a mortar trough from a 1/3 cut oil barrel.
johnt, of course my friend, be my guest ! This is a part I like also, composing all the extra items, building them...fitting them in...
T, wise words my friend, enough is enough, please tell me if I got carried away too much.
ChrisB, this one gets a small diorama setting bud ! The diorama setting completes the story.
Dicky, great pics !!! How can you know I have this one in my stash too ? It's the AFV Bigshot, another nice kit. Definately good stuff for a near future build ! I like the faded green !
robbo, thank you sir !

Hello Guy, This item looks better and better ! Very nice how you painted the 'little things'. I also like the window up composition. This gives a more 'triangle' look to the model. Please continue ! Greetings, Gert
