Pic of the sieve follow shortly guys, meanwhile I've made this oil barrel (1/3) from Milliput, bricklayers in my region use these as mortar trough so why not make one ? A thin Milliput tagliatelli was wrapped around a Verlinden's oil barrel to reproduce the shape of it. Simple and hopefully effective... Next to do is glue the parts together and finish up... Best regards ! G.

Hey Wouter, I'm so glad you like it. It was quite a while ago I did something like this. Usually I put my projects on a black wooden display, to avoid distraction. This however was great fun to do ! The base is a piece of MDF (costs nothing), sanded and spraypainted black, completed with a small DAS clay base (air drying stuff and painted also before doing the ground work itself).
eastrock, thanks man, that's motivating stuff !

well, one can't see that it's been a while that you made a groundwork like that, in my mind you defo can be put in the row of other big names like Staf Sneyers, Rob, and all the other great modellers/dio builders whose names are to many to name.
This is defo topshelf material!
Cheers

Hey G, good to see your feeling better mate.
Man that has all come together into a great scene. The base and groundwork is fantastic and goes well with the old Beep. All the clutter and mason's equipment is spot on. Man this came out great.
