That is a fantastic piece of workmanship there Andy...you should be proud!!! Well done!!
Not sure what you think is wrong with the pics...thinking they look pretty good. The white background seem the white balance might be a touch high but other than that they are clear and in focus.
Oh no...coming to MA ey? LOL you will have to shoot me a time frame...might be a road trip for me and I will snag the Boss along the way!! Where bouts? Cape?
PM Inbound in a minute!!

Hey Andy, I cant say enough to describe how amazing this build adventure has been...on all levels. This Tiger here would be like a lifetime achievement award winner in my opinion, but whats scary cool is going forward, your going to get better and better and i for one cant wait to see it all unfold before our eyes. Dude your pics ROCK!!! I would love to know what your cost were for the Photo booth, proper light bulbs and your camera type. PM me on details if you dont mind. If you dont...ill not bring the CowGirls and T's DietCoke...and we dont want that now do we! Im very proud and happy for ya brother Andy....you killed it on this one my man! Gary

Hi bro, she looks complete indeed, what a beauty indeed! She's a nice lady! About the camera: well, in the beginning I used the Macro setting too but I've abandoned that. The other settings allow you to regulate much more. Here's my settings: I use the 'M' setting on the wheel. Iso 100n F25 (well depends, but in any case a high number to get the model fully in focus, and I play with the shutterspeed time (using the small jogwheel). Now when you tap the button to get the photo focus on the model you can see on the screen a bar with the number 0 in the middle. A little arrow will show on the underside of that bar. The more the arrow goes to the right, the more bright the photos will be, the more to the left, the more dark. The little jogwheel helps you move the little arrow. I play with that constantly to get the photos right. It's much easier than adjusting the brightness afterwards in photoshop I hope it was a bit clear, if not, tell me and I'll try to take pics of errrm...my camera Cheers

Todd- Thanks man! Glad you don't think the pictures are that bad. Guess I am a perfectionist. Sure, drag Boss? Nah, kidnap him and take his telescope too! It would be very useful from my hotel window. LOL PM has been sent... Gary- Thanks my friend! Because of you guys I pushed myself further to do a lot of new stuff for the first time. Thank you all!! No matter how many awards my Tiggy wins it will be always my favorite. My wife is even letting me have it displayed upstairs in the family room if I can find a nice display case. Here's what I have set up for photo shooting... like I said I still have a long way to learn. Photo tent- $40 (brought at camera shop... top quality... 24X24) It comes with four different back drops... black, blue, red and white (default). THREE Photographer Light bulbs- $13 each (works great... good tip from a photographer friend of mine) THREE REDNECK/PAINTER LAMPS- $6 each I think from Walmart of course! Tripod- I have both short and long... it helps hold camera steady. Me and my ADHD thing I must have them! Six pack of good beer- Only an optional Hope this helps... learned about those from guys here. Wouter- Thanks Tiggy brother! I am sure your fiancee is 100 times prettier by the way am so happy about your engagement! Thanks for the tip about F-stop... that's what Todd told me via PM earlier. I am going to look at it next time I take pictures. If I can't figure out I will holler for your help with pictures of your camera. Looks like you are correct... I have abandoned Marco when I took more pictures last night. But I used 'SuperMarco' and it looks a lot better in my opinion... will post more pictures soon. Carl- Thanks again... for being there! Again, please remind them friendly how ferkin' slow I built back at FSM. LOL Armorguy- I was worried I may have gone too far with the blogging. Almost 40 pages long! LOL I will try to do less next time unless you guys really enjoy this. Thanks for the compliment... you guys made my day. You should see my status on Facebook... Kenny- Love that word 'Godsmacked'... one of my fav words coming out of your mouth (fingers). Yes it is DONE! I am not going to do anything more... except for the name plate and nice display case. Joe- Thanks!!! Recommend any good wingy kit? I think I need a break from armors for now. MF72- Appreciate it... thanks! I was keen about creating bases from scratch but now I am hooked. Already making plans to make 3 or 4 more bases for my previous and future builds. Its MSC fault!!! That would be fun if we all can meet for a dinner while we are in town as long as you are paying for the dinner, right? LOLOLOL Luigi- I know... you may be right after all... it is not done until I add name plate and a perfect display case for this. LOL Thanks my friend!

Dicky- God, you are being ferkin' nice!!! Best thing I have read today... crazy day at work and wife working 12 hours shift today. Somebody has to make extra money to support my hobby. LOL Sorry I am one of those slow builders as long as I enjoy my time with you guys. Cheers!
And are you trying to tell me you have longer beard than our own Gary?!?!?! LOL
Boots- Thanks my friend!!! It was blast for sure. I love my Tiggy but I am afraid I am going to vote for you for the MoM. LOLOLOL Following all of you guys builds here really helped... owe y'all plenty of beer for sure.

Absolutely stunning Andy! Definitely your best work to date and that's saying something. As for your Canon (I use a Canon as well), they are a little temperamental and each one has its own 'sweet spot' for settings. The best thing you can do is set your WB manually using the Custom WB option. Get a 'white' object, take a photo of it in the lighting/backdrop you're going to use for the actual model shoot...then use that to set the WB. Will help tremendously. You can also look into getting an 18% gray card at your photo supply shop, ask them about that and how to use it to set your camera up, am sure they will help you out with it!

MF72- LOL! Thanks! Those were FINAL pictures using my best camera... no more coming from my camp for this until I get the name plate and nice display case.
I was only kidding about the wingy kit but believe it or not I already have two in stash. But I think I want a Stuka to be my first wingy build Of course every tank lovers must build one of those tank killers... which is the best kit for Stuka in either 1:48 or 1:32. Wish there is one in 1:35 but don't think so?
Bill- Thanks Tex! You have known me for more than four years and you have seen all of my nine previous builds since my return to the hobby. Thanks to you and others I have been following your builds for so long that I am really enjoying this hobby.
Thanks for the great tip about white balance!!! Yes I do remember seeing the option when I worked on the WB with my camera earlier. I had it set at either neutral or auto... I will try do that next time I take pictures.
Chris- WTH! You are not into Axis armor but you do love shooting at them with your wingy things. There has to be some kind of love...
Thank you so much for the PM! GREAT CATCH about the clean boots on the crew... how did I miss that?!?!?!? Easy fix... I will definitely add mud to their boots. Looking at the pictures again made me realize I may not have added pigments to the right muffler!!! LOL Another easy fix... HAHAHAHA! I almost lost my mind this time...

Andy ,a couple of things . To avoid the problem of your wife using up the memory in your camera and you having to download all of her stuff ..... .........get amother memory card . I keep one just for my model stuff . SD cards are fairly cheap . Andy you said "Carl- Thanks again... for being there! Again, please remind them friendly how ferkin' slow I built back at FSM. LOL" . Yes , and 40 pages here my friend . You and Bill have Canon camera's ..so do i . Cool . I've used Canon camera's since 1965 , when the SLR's first came out . Still have it .I still havent looked at the owners manual for this new Canon completely . Lots of stuff these babies are capable of . Ok friend ..later .

What a splendid cat, Andy Try to get higher F settings to enhance depth, otherwise you'll keep getting something out of focus

Hey Andy! About the Stuka, in 1/48 you have some good pickins. Like Joe said do you want some fun or to fall together. If fun is what you are looking for, then either the Hasegawa or the Airfix should do you. Both kits will benefit from at least PE for the office. The Airfix kit has raised panel lines and rivets, the raised rivets are correct to the real thing. The Hasegawa kit is usual Hasegawa, recessed panel lines and some riveting. If your not afraid of decal IP's, then all you would need to do is make a seatbelt for the pilot and your good to go.
To be honest I'm not sure about the Tamiya/ Italeri kit. Don't know anyone has built either. I hoping that the retool to the kit is up to Tamiya standards. If so then the kit should just fall together. The both offerings give you PE with it.
As for 1/32 ( A BIG PLANE) you got Hasegawa and Trumpeter. For the most part same info as above. I don't do 32 so I'm going on reviews. It looks like the Trumpeter has some fit issues and lacks in cockpit detail.
If anyone knows more correct me please.
HTH Andy. I'm sure some of the other guys will have info I Don't. Oh! For the love of God With any of these kits, Buy the canopy mask! I'm all for making your own but there are some you just gotta.
One more thing, if you want to really have some fun, look for either MPC's or Airfix's 1/24 Stuka!

Mark- Thanks buddy! Appreciate it... you up for a trade between my Tiggy for one of your big toys? Joe- I guess I take all of my builds seriously so best kit that comes with PE especially for the cockpit. If not, I can always order aftermarket sets. This is the only thing my wife lets me order at this moment... LOLOL Carl- Thanks my friend!!! Thanks for the tip about memory card. We had FOUR... gonna hunt for one and hide it inside my drawer from now on. I am afraid I like to blog while I build... it is always fun sharing builds with you guys. Luigi- Thanks again for the tip!!! Gonna play with my camera more often not when I finish my builds. Again thanks for tagging along! Sollie- Appreciate it... thanks! Kenny- Whew! I am glad I didn't have to give you mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. I am sure our friend Dicky is more than happy to do this since he lives a lot closer to you. Really appreciate your nice words... I get better because of you guys! Wouter- Thanks brother!!! You were one of two reasons why I built this. So its still your fault and I still like you my brother. I average only 3 or 4 builds a year unfortunately... hopefully more but it means I will have to blog less and it means less fun... LOLOLOL Spud- Thanks mate... always a pleasure to have you along. I enjoy every of your builds too despite the fact you can't drink beer with me. MF72- You have been so helpful! Maybe 1:48 is a good idea... I am running out of space fast in my basement that I have to build another set of wall shelves. No kidding about canopy masking... thanks for the tip! Now I am tempted to take out Tristar 1:35 Storch out of my stash soon... right now I am building a rotory kit. Check it out if you haven't... thanks again!

Hi Andy, How darn excellent is this build? Absolutely superb work my friend - the guys have said everything already! It doesn't get any better than this! All I can say is you'd better start building some seriously excellent 10 star models now - until you build something even more amazing this is what everyone will remember you for! The bar is now set very high for you, old chum! What's next then - still the Lil' Bird heliflopter? Love the photography set up. I'm just not that into the photography side of the hobby - it's way out of my price range to get a really good camera so blog updates get done with my 'standard' digital camera and Godfather Dave does the 'completed' photos with his mega bucks set-up. That arrangement works just fine for me Again, great work - well done buddy! Ben
