Well Andy, I know it fought you most of the way, but you can be proud of this achievement my friend! I think you have done an excellent job on a not-very-good kit, and have captured the dusty look very well in the end. Well done mate! Personally, I love the look of the OH-6 family and I have versions to build in 1/72 (in progress), 1/48 and 1/35. You've done yourself proud mate! Cheers, Sam

Thanks buddy!!!! Sorry for being slow. Stayed up very late last night to finish this little bastard and pack for the show today. It was a great show... one of my favorites! Really appreciate your comment... it was definitely the hardest one I have built but I am glad it came out OK. Believe it or not it brought home a gong... Very happy ending you can say but I still will always have this "love/hate" relationship with this little bird or maybe little bastard. LOL

Leon- Thanks!!! It was really great having you tagging along. Luigi- Thanks my friend! My wife still won't let me hang those awards in the family room or even the dining room. So guess they belong in my cave man... Steve- I know! I swear I was ready to get rid of it! I don't think I will build another Little Bird but with special planks used by the Delta Force. Well, never say never... LOL Thanks! Boots- Thanks mate!!! Will always remember this... you can thank my parents for teaching me not to give up too easily. ER- Thanks buddy! Does it means you are going to send me some pig legs finally? LOL Garage- LOL Thanks brother!!! Sure felt good how it did at the show. Am already looking forward to another rotary build later this year or next year... not a Blackhawk I was planning but a Chinook. Just be on look out for a post of stuff I brought home from the show.

Hey Rick!!!
I am so glad you had wonderful visit with your family. Nothing beats this especially if everybody doesn't live in same town. My family live in every part of the country now... we all only meet at either weddings or funerals.
Yesterday show was great... meeting and making more friends was the best part. It was a honor to bring home some awards too. There were fewer entrees but still plenty of great builds! BUT the vendors were even better. LOL
Glad you are here... think you will like it here for one and the only reason... guys here are much crazier and funnier! We don't have to wait for whole year to get together as we were talking about doing a cook out at my house. Maybe do a trip to the Ropkey Museum too before the big BBQ dinner... that would be fun!

Bill. missed your post by a minute or even less. Thanks buddy!!! Many years following your builds really helped. Your answers to my stupid questions helped too. LOL Wish I have your speed especially that you are done with the MBA thing you will be back to 10-12 completed builds per year. I don't know if I will ever get back to that pace again...but it will be nice to have more consistent/reliable bench time available, no question about that! The only stupid question is the one you don't ask...unless of course it's a question about Gary's tutus.

OK Bill, I will try to refrain from asking you about Gary's pink tutu. I thought having a degree in MBA makes you the expert?

Prof- Almost miissed your comment... thank you so much! Many battles but the war was won at the end. Bill & Dicky- Let me know if you need me to schedule marriage counseling between you guys? LOL Sam- Appreciate your nice words... thank you my friend! Now do I have your permission to add some cool M-80 crackers and blow it up into pieces? That's what I did to all of my wingy kits when I was in high school. [Sigh] I'd appreciate if you don't tell my wingy friends I did this... Dupes- Yep, it was unexpected... I was just hoping just for one but two... can't ask for more. Thanks buddy! Bases were built from scratch... thanks to all guys here for showing me how because I couldn't have done without your help. Remind me to bring a bottle of Duvel beer but not sure if it will go well with cheese... maybe a bottle of wine works better? LOL
