Looks great Andy, ya real turned this into one Helo-va winner!  BTW, Ummmm...i keep checkin my PM's and no beach Bunny pics yet. What gives.....wife watchin ya close buddy?  Gary Of course I didn't forget! Managed to snap a pic of hottest babes at the beach yesterday for you my good friend... here it is!  Happy now?  What has been seen cannot be unseen. Tobi- LOL! Thanks... really appreciate it! If you want to build yours, I strongly recommend you to insert metal or stronger styrene rods for better support on the skids, missile launchers, and the tail etc. Only thing still scares me... the bubble canopy. Dicky- You are ferkin' way too nice! Can you call Trumpeter and ask them if they can release AH-6 kit so I can build another one but with side planks used by Delta Force one day? Those nice ladies stopped and asked me if Gary was here... they looked kinda sad when I said no.  Sam- I was going to post few more but I am afraid it will cause the forum's server to crash!!! Flying home today... looking forward to start a new build tonight if I am not too tired from the travel.

Thanks for the hint with the strengthening rods Andy. I'm a big fan of such measures as I consider myself a little clumsly compared to the average modeller. Some years ago I bought a set of side planks for the Delta battle taxi from Cobra Company. The set also had pretty decent seats (beside a fingerprint on it) and new instrument panels. I don't know if it is still available but maybe you're able to source one in the wild wild web.  |

Tobi- Glad I am not alone... I am one of those VERY clumsy modelers. LOL Last January I checked with Cobra Company and they were still selling those plank sets. My original build was to build the Little Bird with planks but realizing with only 7 weeks til the show I was afraid I will not make it so I had to drop the idea and build it OOB except for the miniguns and ammo belts. Maybe next time I will if I find another Little Bird set at the LHS or show for a good price... |
