Guys, trust me it is being posted in the correct place under 'Rotory' thread... My next build... I like to do rotory builds... I consider it a perfect break from those armor builds so I can feel refreshed. It has only 111 parts and I ordered PE set all the way from Hong Kong as it was no where to be found here in USA. While I was waiting for the Tiggy base to be dry, I went ahead and started... Still working on the seat belts...more to add. Hope you will enjoy this build too...

I'm not a big fan of helos, but any of your builds is fun to follow, so count me in

Looks like Photobucket is acting up once again... they do really suck! Same photo posted but both are really different at PB library even IMG codes are different. Crazy?
Luigi- It is always a pleasure having you tagging along my friend!

Prof- Thanks mate! Hope your day yesterday was GREAT!!! Am always a fan of small kits with much fewer kits... I feel so motivated already. LOL
Boots- Glad you like my choice of next build... more to come!
Dupes- Hey! Thanks man! Can't wait to see how it comes out too... gonna love those little sexy black helos. I am aiming for faded black paint with very light touch of dust just like those birds we seen in the Blackhawk Down movie. Earlier I wanted to turn it into Special Forces carrying bird with carrying planks but after checking with a small company Cobra Company that specializes in selling resin parts for rotory kits they didn't have a set for this. One day I will build the carrying planks from scratch... model show is coming up in two months and time is not in my favor this time.

Safe to say the front part of cockpit is complete. I will add wirings after I study good walk around pictures I found when I googled... Little Bird walk around pictures in case you are interested... those guys are great helpers for sure! www.primeportal.net/hangar/michael_supko/mh-6e/s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=185268Made improvements to the feet pedals... Latest look... Seat belts from Eduardo PE... More to come... thanks for looking!

Boots- Hey! Thanks! That's why I had to order PE set from Hong Kong... it has to have belts because they will be very visible... thanks to its huge bubble canopy! Dicky- Ferk me that you are back! Crap, I was building at faster pace during your absence. LOL Nah, the kit only has 111 parts and I think I will use no more than 100 parts according to the instructions. And of course some PE stuff... you know how much I love PE... more than you love Trumpeter... did I ever tell you that? LOL Those foot petals and seat belts PE are probably the most challenging so it means the rest should be easy and quick. I am hoping to finish this in 4-5 weeks. Model show is on March 23rd... that's the deadline. Chris- Thanks mate! You didn't miss anything... I started two days ago. LOL I felt so bad how others treat you for being a wingy thing so I thought I'd meet you half way with this rotory thing. Always happy to have you tagging along! Hoping it comes better than the Huey as I have learned few cool tricks I want to try...

I think there is something wrong with me... the cockpit is completed. And it took me only two days?!?!?!? Nah, no need to dial 9-1-1!!! I think I will be OK... It look so cramped in the rear... Now I have goofed... placed the ammo belt piece too close to the candle to make it softer and it melt instead. I need to have it fixed... hoping you have a good tip? I don't have one of those Milliput stuff but thinking it may be the best way to fix this.

Damn, ammo belt looks well cooked, best is to cut out the bad bit and drop in some scratch work?
Good progress though, looking great.

Nice job on the 'pit I agree with Prof, cut off the molten part and scratch it. I think it can be done with square rod sanded smooth...

Joe- Thanks buddy! no worries I think I have an idea... LOL
Prof & Luigi- You just gave me a better solution!!! Thank you so much... here's what I will do. The ammo belt is pretty long with a room to spare so I will cut it just above the melt part then turn it downside that the bad part is at lower end since we may not need that much. Hope it works...

Dicky- No kidding! I know! Ferk me I think I got Dicky's curse that helps me build anything faster? Hope it doesn't mean I will wear those funny shorts next? LOL
Just in case I screw up again in the future, will Milliput putty fix this or not? I almost made a quick trip to LHS just for this putty. They sell for like $12 or maybe more... is it worth the money?
Boo- LOL! I thought about light bulb too. First I tried very hot water and it didn't work so I had to use the candle. What would be the best way? HUH Glad you like it so far... more to come! Thanks for stopping by!
Leon-Thanks buddy! Looks like I was able to save the ammo belt. I hope I don't need that much so I can just cut the bottom part off when I attach the mini guns.

Guys- Update on the little bird... the ammo belt looks OK now. I will apply Mr Surface 500 to make it blend better before it is painted. Hoping I don't need all so I can just cut the bad part off when I attach the mini-gun. Went ahead and worked on other parts... I regret my decision not to order aftermarket barrels from RB earlier as I thought they looked OK but at closer look they were nasty. This kit was made in 1995 (my last year of bachelor) and injection marks were everywhere and barrels were not injected properly... I AIN'T jackwagon who can make anything from scratch so I went ahead and ordered RB sets. Unfortunately only available sets are in Poland as AK Interactive was out of stock. Last time I ordered from RB they were pretty quick... Planning to have the pit primed and painted over the weekend.

Nice recovery, Andy You already ordered the barrels, so I won't tell you that you could look for appropriate size syringe needles...

Hi DP.
Great save on the ammo belt!
Good decision to change the gun barrels, when people look at military builds, they always look at the guns!
Look forward to more...

Luigi- LOL! Thanks! I did thought about making 'em from scratch but am afraid I don't have much time left... 7 weeks left til the model show and I want to finish it at least one or two weeks before so I can create diorama bases for two previous builds too. Boo- I agree... I am curious what others have to share. Next time maybe I will try it on my coffee cup warmer... at least it is not hotter than light bulb. Appreciate you tagging along! Gary- No worries! Figured you were busy with my cheerleaders I sent over. I was surprised how bad the molding was... figured its 1995 or maybe its a rebox from other manufacture... I won't let it stop me from turning it into a fine looking bird. Me scratch up barrels? Are you kidding me? Please remember this... I am not as cute as our friend Dicky. LOL Maybe one day I will but not this time since time is not in my favor... Sam- Glad you like it so far... it has been fun and hope you will enjoy this too. Thanks for dropping by! Prof-LOL! Don't we all love guns... I agree about the AM barrels. Hoping the order arrives within a week or two at most. It will allow me enough time to paint the cockpit and finish the build... thanks!

Dicky- You are ferkin' awesome! Did somebody ever tell you that? I didn't realize I had to bring water to boiling stage... I only had it pretty hot but NOT that hot. It probably would have worked better if I did. Dealing with candle I should have practice using spare parts first which I didn't... it has been decades since I did that. LOL Appreciate you tagging along my funny shorts friend! Bob- Thanks man! Hope you are NOT working this weekend... Luigi- Since you live a lot closer to Dicky can you please send him some Italian beer or something good? Thanks buddy!
