Mence- Thanks mate! Rob- LOL! It hasn't happened to me yet. Thanks boss! Coat of Future has been sprayed this morning... I was too tired to return to my bench to spray last night. I think it will be ok for me to add decals tonight as long as it is dry for more than 10 hours. If not, then I guess I will do it in the morning.

Leon- I better keep you away from my wife then. LOL Carl- Thanks buddy! Waited for you to join... guess you got lost again? Luigi- Oh there's very easy solution that will allow you drink any beer. Just add few drops of Vallejo thinner to your beer and it will make gluten disappear. Testor thinner may be too little strong that would make color disappear too. Andy , its a long ways down here to the helo place you know .......kind of out of my compfort zone with all of this whirling stuff going on .

Gary- Or should I say Greg? LOL Thanks brother... that was fun part anything with the AB gun! Dicky- Thanks mate! Glad its fixed... it will bug me if I didn't fix it earlier. It pays to take airbrushing classes for 16 weeks... LOL Bill- Am sure you can drink more rum since you are almost finally done with the MBA thing, right? Thanks my friend! Carl- I am aware its a long drive but promise you I will take you back home in the Little Bird when it is done. Sorry no pictures yet... had a great day today. Applied decals after a coat of Future sprayed on yesterday. Decals look great... it is still not my favorite part of modeling. Will spray another coat of Future on the decals then I will take pictures. Stay posted my friends!

Carl- Absolutely you can play with my miniguns! For every shot you fire you owe me just one can of beer. Deal? Rob- Done? Are you ferkin' kidding me?!?!? I would say its about 90% completed... only need dark washes and weathering then I am calling it done. Here's my next build if you really want to know... Can't' wait to try those AK slime products on it and it will carry nice sized stowage too.

I know one armour project Andy's got lined up for later this year...... But I'm not tellin' if yer don't watch the Shoutbox yer can miss an awful lot of 'Below the scenes' gossip!!!! Yes I am afraid Dicky is correct. My future build after the summer break probably after that DUWK will be... This kit is the only modern armor I have in stash. Brought it on sale for like $25 a while ago. I will build it only if Dicky build one of those WWII German armor... still waiting to find out what kit he will build. He has to have my approval first. You can say it will be an exciting duel WIP thread...

Guys- Had a very productive day yesterday. Was hoping to post an update from work but today was one of craziest Mondays. After spraying a coat of Future, I wanted to use decals I ordered from Cobra Company because the idiots at Dragon didn't include decals in the kit. All pictures of actual Little Birds had some markers. Realizing the decals were way too long and large I couldn't fit them on the tail. Crap! Had to scramble for something from other helo kits I had in stash. This was the best I could find... it was supposed to be in OD but what the heck... with only have five days left, I went ahead with the black decals from Dragon UH-1D Huey kit. Shiny after couple of Future coats... but it was perfect fit. Was worried about silvering especially on black paint but it worked out. While I was looking for decals in other kits, I found perfect decals from Academy BlackHawk for the missile launchers. Yes, they were actually painted in yellow... Latest snapshot of the Little Bird after two coats of flat clear... Unfortunately two accidents occurred last night... the rod attaching the main rotor snapped off. Not the first time... gonna replace it with a metal rod. Then while I was spraying flat clear on the base, I accidentally grabbed the wrong spray can!!! Spot the spot at top right corner? Damn you Testors Primer spray can!!! You and MM Lusterless flat clear just look much alike! I threw the primer rattle can into trash so it won't happen again... it sucked anyway. So now I have to fix the damage... LOL Too tired to do anything tonight... busy day at work so I will play catch up tomorrow.

Flat coat brought out the decals really well . I've done that spray mistake with my airbrush ......i use 2 on some projects ..... one left hand and one right hand .

Garegy- I think I have found perfect name for you... combination of both names Gary and Greg. Will it be acceptable? LOL Remember I am so bad with names... LOL U betcha! I will sing in American Sign Language (ASL) while you do the belly dancing thing! You know my rule... I like to have figures to all armor builds so DUKW and Chally will have them. I was hoping to include a figure for this Little Bird but with limited time I had to skip this time. I couldn't find a good looking resin 1/35 helo pilot anywhere anyway... Carl- LOL! You have read my mind. Yep already have PE set... had to order it all the way from Hong Kong but with free shipping! And I finally got me better set of resin wheels from MIG via eBay two days ago for half of its retail price!!! Yet my wife was upset I had to buy something... I don't think she gets it. LOL about using two ABs... multi-tasking can be good and bad at same time! Guys- Used MIG Filter for the first time... it worked very well on black. It was still in process of drying when pictures were taken. Also dark washes was applied to the ammo belts... Made all small details P-O-P big time! Tomorrow I will brush off excessive wash then spray acrylic flat clear so I can add dust.

Ooooh, bummer about the spray can accident on your base! Let me know if we can work something out for some of your spare CC decals - I could use some for one of my Academy Night Stalker Blackhawks.

Carl- Thanks buddy! I thought it was interesting... at first it looked too purplish then it toned down when dry. I don't think any wives will understand... Mac- Thanks mate!!! It really helped tone the paint down... Rob- Thanks bos... no worries about the base. It will be an easy fix... just more time lost to unnecessary mistakes. LOL Model show coming up next week so will hunt for those AK products as usual. Dupes- Glad you like it. Just PM me your address I will send you some... I think I have more than enough since I build only one helo a year. Just buy me a beer when we meet in June!!! Deal? Luigi- Thanks my friend! Only four nights left to finish it... fun fun fun!
