This post starts to show what was known as the IMA interior kit which never seemed to make it to market. The casting is near superb and the mastering the best I have ever seen, everything fits together like a TASCA kit. The directions are adequate but for my tastes could use a little nudge here and there.
I talked to the Master maker when I purchased the kit, in our conversation it sounded like there was some sort of disconnect between the resin company IMA and the Master maker which is too bad because usually resin kits are a test for casting and fit.
Thats it for the start, am starting the interior and will post some OOB photo's of the parts, may have to purchases a Bronco Humber kit to copy the guns which are the same as this kit but we will see.

Good luck!

Thank you all for the interest. It certainly is going to be an interesting build with that involved track system. Right now I am considering the base color because I am going to attempt the box art paint scheme which on the box looks kind of like a cream. The instruction give 2 parts XF59 with 3 parts XF62 and I know that would give me something very green which that color is not.
Will most likely go with Stone unless something comes up to change my mind.

Stone sounds like the right approach IMHO. Looking forward to seeing this armored roller-skate come to life! It's a kit I've been tempted to get myself on occasion.

I'm not sure I would do one again but it does fill a period of time that has not been covered so I'm committed now but there are so many great kits out there that a guy has to be selective or he will miss the good ones.

I had to glue the basket supports in the required configuration and di not have enough hands to put it all together so outside the box I used Micromark liqui-tape which allowed me to apply some let it set up and temporarily stick the uprights to the rim while I epoxied the tub basket floor at the other end. When the basket floor had set I pulled the rim off removed the Liqui-tape and epoxied the rim to the uprights in perfect position. Might be old hand here but I use double sided 3m tape on paint stir sticks to hold small parts to paint. Bottom after removing engine compartment wall. Shows engine compartment wall. Shows how sighting bar came out in PE and size of rivets.

That list thing happened again with the above post. I edited out by erasing it and that kept the post alright but something is up that does not show up in any other sites I might post to.

The kit provides some PE parts that I ALWAYS avoid as much as possible because of CA glues and Gator glue does not always work well with small parts. Here I use some slices of angle stock to make bumpers for when the opening roof part No. C 3 lays open. Also when applying the upper hull part No. C 33 it did not want to line up quite right so I had to fill a gap. Then when fitting the left fender which has no index marks I set it 0.015" short of the hull end which made fender part No. C 5 fit poor so I cut a cardstock spacer to make it true.

Same filler problem here which Slater's 0.010 rod fixes. This is an excellent product for this purpose, it is about as fine as human hair and also makes great weld beads. The red color helps in photo's also.

The last post showed the right side where part No. C 34 attaches, I found some very minor issues here that one should be aware of. There is a set of rivets running along the top of the hull as shown that have to be removed for C 34 to fit flush, they have to be removed strating with the tenth one from the left end of the hull. Also I had to use my flat sanding board to shorten the height of C 34 to match the top of the hull.

Im doing soemthing I dont like to do but I think the sight vane is an important part so this is the start of my attempt to assemble the PE parts that make the vane up. Will be reporting on how applying the rivets goes later when I quit swearing.

Before I forget the issue of the mysterious imbedded advertisements that I hogged in on BigJohn's Ambulance blog with. It was a real issue that can be detected by Malware Bites but it is not a virus. It is a program that slips onto your computer with some of the "Free" add on’s that are floating around particularly the "Free" Tool Bars. The program is named playtopus and can be removed by using the regular uninstall procedure. If you get it you want to check all your programs you don’t recognize as it also comes with other names but when you hold your cursor over the program the name playtopus will show up. The Icon that shows with the name is a small blue duck.

Hey Teabone, Good progress. Love the interior details. Mike
I can’t take a lot of credit for the interior since the original master did such an excellent job, it does add to the kit though it’s too bad it failed to make it to market.

Looks like you're whipping this one into shape teabone, looking good! Thanks for the added info on platypus, it's one of those that circulates around quite a bit these days unfortunately. Glad you got that particular bug resolved!

Glad you got that particular bug resolved! It is unbelievable the amount of people who set around dreaming up ways to screw something up, of course I am sure they say the same thing about people who build scale models as a hobby.

The kit had two styrene plates that set on the edge of the turret ring for some reason which I never understood as the original vehicle had no such plates so I filled the holes. The kit also provides a mirror on a styrene rod which would never survive my clumsy ways so I replaced it with a bronze rod and two pieces of styrene to connect the mirror to and to the hull. will show a picture when done.
