Good Morning Folks
As far as ease of construction goes I don't see any difference between the two at this point. The difference is found in what you get for the money. You can build three variations of the Nashorn with the Dragon kit for $47.99 but the AFV Club Nashorn is only the Standard or late variant and it'll cost you $57.49
Prices are Sprue Bros and seem to be middle of the road for these kits.
Sounds like it got rough in Texas yesterday, hope you guys are ok Tony lee

You suffered with wind yesterday huh? I ain't going to touch that one with a ten foot pole brother. The last couple of days i've been placing all the bits and pieces called for and getting ready to start sanding 20,000 road wheels. Thanks for calling jackwagon Tony lee

One build has enough road wheels to deal with, never mind two at the same time! I feel your pain there Tony but once you're done, think how happy you'll be.

Bill to be honest i'm happy that i'm still able to build models. Eyes are still good, not perfect but useable. Hands not to stiff and shaky.

More bits and pieces but inside this time. AFV Club: DML: Just like trim work when building a house it's slow going and then you're done. Tony lee

"Slow going"?? LOL, you are building two and you are moving along at a great pace Tony! Looking great BTW. Couple extra support in the DML, big ones and those smaller ones on the side of the casemate are a bit different...still leaning AFV!! Nice work Tony!!

"T" I'm not sure if those short braces are there to support the sides or not. They're behind the ammo lockers and maybe just for gluing the lockers to. Seems slow to me Tony lee

Always good to share the hobby with friends Tony! Otherwise you start muttering under your breath all the time and people start looking at you funny...err, I mean, you become very sociable and an amiable guy, yeah, that's it! Nice progress on the twins!

It's all in how you look at it Jeff. DML wheel has three parts but the AFV Club wheel has five since the tires are separate making more to clean up. Thanks Tony lee

Wheels...so, so many wheels. I could never do that and still be sane afterwards. I commend you on that accomplishment sir. Can't wait to see them painted.

Tony
I don't know much about the subject vehicle but I can tell a great effort when I see it, comparison builds are great and really show whose design is the one. Those German engineers sure liked their wheels.

If you pick the AFV Club Nashorn all you rubber band types will be very happy. I turned them inside out,put a thin coat of Tamiya Extra Thin on the slice and held them together with duck bill clips I got from Radio Shack to use as heat sinks for soldering while the joint dried. The slice joint is just to the right of the drivers view port. Pretty good for band tracks don't you think? Cheers Tony lee
