My stash is like a box of chocolates...... Another 30 minutes of cleanup this morning and the barrel is ready to be attached, hoo boy.

Stuck the barrel on, very careful to get it "clocked" correctly, did some blending, went to take pics and by gosh if I didn't stick it on up-side down. Hmm.... So, fixed that, starting sticking little bits on the turret. It's getting that distinctive look now. Lots of under-pours still, and I may actually have some missing parts, hard to say. No worries tho'

Well, I didn't "just bust in there tomorrow", as you may have guessed. We had a contract on the house that fell through at the very last minute, and I've got most of my model room packed, so who knows what's in store. We're back on the market, got another offer already but it's probably not gonna go due to financing. It's tough to get a home loan these days...... BUT, I did actually do the spare track bracket on the bustle rack, came out pretty good actually. Legends' part looked nice, but it was in such a big old block of excess resin I broke it trying to clean it up and had to scratch one up. Then my PC died (I'm on a Macbook at work) so I don't know for sure when I can get a pic up. Sheesh!

Hang in there as we have had that happen to us before. We were all moved into our first house and then found out the lady who approves the HUD programs, wasn't even turning them in and we hadn't even been "legally" approved. So we lived there 4 months rent-free until they sorted it out. We eventually received a modified loan from the Government and it all worked out in the end. That was 27 years ago! Wheewwww! Jeff

Zounds. Well, I got a couple of pics this morning, but I'm having no joy getting any uploaded on the Mac I use at work.....prolly just as well since "I'm at work".... The job is good, low pressure, good boss, good work, good hours. I'm very grateful to be here. I'll see if the PC at home feels like working tonight, get a couple of pics up. And Gary, I'm being good. I did pull a half-consumed bottle of port out of a 700 bottle shipment that I'm inventorying, had to make notes on that one..... Thanks for all the good wishes, it's appreciated.

I got a cup of something that smells like coffee and I'm gonna go put 70 cases of wine in three lockers that I have to climb a ladder to get to. That'll fix me.

Well, well, well. Still no pics, but in the process of "cleaning up", I found the Legends ERA for the bow plate, and since the lovely wife had a hair appointment last night, I popped off the plastic parts from the Italeri kit I'd stuck on way back when and substituted the very nicely detailed resin parts. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, but still no pics. Now if this Mac would recognize my card reader.....

I need to get my PC fixed, replaced or figure out this Mac..... I have modeling progress by gawd, and whining to do about casting blocks, fragile resin parts, short shots and why in the world did they do that in resin when brass would have been SO much easier..... But as they say in the racing world, no pics means it didn't happen. I've also figured out a whole lot about using hot water to straighten resin parts, but as George Costanza can tell you, there's no fix for shrinkage. I really need something OOB. Maybe I can un-pack some of my stash and do the Tamiya Char B or a Trumpy KV, just to chill.

Hey Russ, Lets see ya build that KV-1!! Id love that. BTW, if ya tie it in a knot, you dont have to worry about shrinkage! Thats what i do anyways.......
