The diorama itself will get another update, too. The civilian person came with his bike that I borrowed from a very old Bandai kit [2 dinghies and two bikes included]. Ist slightly modified, and the changes had been the following: The White glue may seem a Little thick here, but once ist dry, it will set and everything is fine

Hello Lucas, The repositioned wheel on the bike is one of those touches that add an additional level of realism. Dave

Sorry for the late answer. Had a little time and my SWMBO allowed me to build three "Tschechenigel" ["Czech Hedgehogs"] from the Tamiya 1/48 set that will replace the fence. Thanks for the CC here fellas... The hedgehogs will get some color when Im home Tuesday. Brown color followed by some washing and highlights with metal color I guess...

How will you get the spokes on that thing??

Now Im a bit confused... What do you mean with "spokes" please?
The kit says: three bars, two connection joints [triangles]... ready to go. Ill add some wire on the ground to connect them [shown on the box picture]... Should be enough.

I became a member long after this thread started, so I have missed it all until now! What an ambitious cool project going on here and I really like the 52 as it was a HUGE workhorse in the war. Nice to see another corrugated aircraft lover! The ground work has a lot of detailed things going on... the fence, the shoreline, all of it is looking great so keep up the nice work. Can't wait to see the plane completed! Jeff

Jeff, Steve - thank you for your comments. Im a bit into figures, but planes - well thats another thing. But Ill try my best. Decided spontaneously that the guyutside the gate should get a friend. Plus, theres some additional greenery [fern]on the diorama now, created with "Noch" lasercut plants. Pictures will follow.

A propos figures... I decided to add another figure - ist loads of fun to make a kitbash from spare parts. But please dont call me "Dr. Frankenstein" If the guy here is from the Prague press or just a Hobby photographer - decide for your own. He consists of several Tamiya parts - legs, Hands, head -, Eduard ones [belly] and some scratched items, like the camera. Including a paper band.

I was in a good humour and placed some more butteflies on the diorama. 13 butterflies, to be more correct. So the kids on the Expos will have something to search on the diorama

Mh... in myopinion thats what a good Diorama is about. "Just" a model on a simple base - not here. I think I owe that to my grandpa
