Resin engine looks fine. With some tweaking and adding it should be almost perfect. Thanks for the positive thoughts Luigi but I have finished the build and am only posting pictures that I forgot to post originally and hoping I learned some tricks for my next build. In a day or two I should be posting that finished pics.

I really like the engine, Bones. As for the completed build, I'd love to have some less fuzzy pics, as it looks nice

Bones "Every thousand years, I test each life system in the Universe. I visit it with mysteries, earthquakes, unpredicted eclipses, strange craters in the wilderness... If these are taken as natural, I judge that system ignorant and harmless - I spare it. But if the Hand of Ming is recognized in these events, I judge that system dangerous to us. I call upon the great god Dyzan, and for his greater glory...... and for our mutual pleasure...... I destroy it utterly. "
Still a great looking tractor. On my list of things to do.

I have no idea how I missed this one...many apologies for coming in so late. This'll come in very useful for when I build mine (provided we don't have to move to yet another site ) All the hints and tips are much appreciated! BTW the 'engines of the red army' site is German, some of it has been translated into Russian by someone I got Mr. Missing, who runs the site, in touch with. You have my respect for tackling that resin engine! I'm too tight to buy it (besides I'd be scared to mess it up after spending so much on it), so I'll just get the radiator surround. Cheers, Dierk

Certainly late is much better than not making it at all. I cant say how you would do with the engine but it isn't a bad kit but like all resin kits there is always some adjustments to make as you go. The Trumpy kit is reasonably easy and I think I might try the one with the cab on of these days.
Tanks for stopping by and the nice words.

Does that mean me and Todd can't watch? You being a Good looking Dolly, I don't think that would disqualify you unless you wanted to kiss or hold hands.
