Leon - Thanks!! SHouldn't be too long beofre the next one!!
Bones - I suspect the entire drive train will work when done! I also can't see there being an issue with the links...just siding with caution is all!!! How much was the bet for? LOL!!

Dan - Thanks!! Looking forward to seeing you have at it!! You will be impressed when it get's there!!
Deano - Thanks Buddy! This certainly has that "different" factor going on!!! They need to make more model constuction vehicles for sure!!

Bones - I suspect the entire drive train will work when done! I also can't see there being an issue with the links...just siding with caution is all!!! How much was the bet for? LOL!! We are replacing some broken sidewalk in front of our house and my sweetheart, forever busy, went out and measured it up so she would have the square feet when the contractor came by for a price. She told me the sidewalk was five feet wide and I was sure it was four feet wide and told her if it was five feet wide I'd eat it. I have to say that old concrete tastes bad and she is still grinning.
Bones.

How did I miss the introduction!!! This is going to be a popular thread for sure... count me in even tho I am not into this kind of stuff but I could use one to remove all of dog poop in the back yard one day.

All good Andy!! Still a novelty being as new as it is! I could see you doing one...not a modern tank..more of a tractor on crack!! When you are done pooper-scoopin' the backyard, my 4-legged friend has several tunnels going to China...I will need it back!!!

pfc - www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Reviews&file=index&req=showcontent&id=9326 This is my review on Armorama from a couple days ago. Seam lines...not bad...couple here and there...LOL..its plastic, it molds...there will be seams. Nothing a quick sand won't cure. For what there isI am seeing them on some smaller parts...I will try and point out defects as I go here on the build!! Paul - Wicked!! Happy Crimbo!! Boss - Maybe someone should give Meng a call then!! ;P !!

I do know that they used a different styrene on the Hilux...more to what you see in auto models. This feel similar to most Trumpy kits and the fit is about the same too...nice!

It is big! I did assemble the Ripper hydraulics last night and it gets attached un-glued...with the one attachement and the naked undercarriage it looks a bit longer than a Panther lot taller too!! I didn't get a chance to post the pics last night as I ran out of time, but I will snap one with a figure for scale this afternoon!

Thanks Smudge!! Happy to have you along for the ride!! Paul : hobby-space.com/Meng-135-ss002-D9R-Doobi-armored-bulldozer-SS-002-P3206560.aspxHobby-Space! If you add it to "your cart" and toss in the postal code it will give you your shipping cost. The kit is going for 35.90 US and my shipping would be $22 and change...$58 when all said and done...Not sure if your shipping is more or less...check it out!!
