Thanks for the welcome back guys Cee Bee-Yes another boring Tiger II and later I'll be doing a PANTHER!!! Andy-What's happening brother Leon-Good to be back Carl-Have to agree, it's not gotten above -15 around here between ambient and wind chill for better than a week Wingy-if this one turns out half as good as yours I'll be delighted Deano-Thanks man Tojo-How's it goin' This is not a complicated build, not many parts compared with some. The roadwheels turned out to be press fit, very tight with no glue needed. I was leery of the two part track but that was unfounded as there's just enough friction to hold them together before the glue goes on, and they go together easily tho tediously. I'm going to try to model turret #332 from SpzAbt 501 here and all photo's I've seen of it show no rear fenders so had to fill some gaps This one probably won't be too interesting 'till I try to fumble my way thru the three color camo scheme Regards, Mark

Hey gents Carl-I'm a-tryin Nemo-Good to be back, thanks Bill-Thanks brother Pete-Thanks, I needed one of these to round out my Kraut cat collection Luigi-Great to have a bench again, and also to be back at it. Running drywall mud's tough at my age. Hopefully I'll make the following worth your time Paul-Thanks man how are ya? Dan-You're right, this Dragon offering is nicer, I think, than the Tammy. Thanks for the kind assessment So some more fiddling done The best part of assembling magic tracks, when they're done Turret mostly done Needed the headlight conduit and the hull hatch grab handles disappeared when I let out a great sneeze so Those with sharp eyes will note space between the track and idler. It's OK as this is Dragon's adjustable idler that's not yet been fixed into final position. I'm kind of eager to start paint on this one Regards, Mark

Tracks look great! Interested to see the three-color camo go on. I love Colonial power sockets...they're permanently surprised! Hahahahaaaaa...you limeys and all of your "Colonialisms".

The tracks look perfect the sag is spot on too 1 thing that caught my eye is the headlight cable seems too high in my eyes i think it should be touching the glacis plate i could be wrong tho :?
Nice mods to the hatch handles buddy is the commanders cupola from the Tamiya kit?

Dupes-Thanks, I think I've finally figured out the ideal length of time between putting the glue to the tracks and installing them to dry which seems to be 10-15 minutes what with the glue I use and atmospheric pressure and whatever other whacked out factors come into play
Dan-Thanks also and after looking at some pictures it seems you're right, I hope I can get the first try apart without breaking anything. The commander's cupola is the kit supplied one; I just sprayed it with some dunkelgleib. This kit has a ring with periscope heads included so I sprayed the cupola, painted the 'scope heads, and stuck it together. Now I can mask the guards off during the main event and end up with nice pretty periscopes.
Regards, Mark

Making good time with this one Mark! Dan's right about the headlight conduit, it should lay flat on the plate...Dragon may have provided the pre-bent steel wire assuming zim in its height/placement...you may be better off just using it as a guide/template and replacing it with solder of a similar diameter...that's what I usually do as the steel wire is very resistant to change when needed.

Afternoon guys Gary-hey brother how are ya? Luigi-Thanks Pete-I think the magic part of magic tracks is if somehow one can get them to lay correctly; I struggle with them also. The only reason I do is because I'm too cheap to buy Fruils. Thanks also Bill-That wasn't a kitpart, it was a custom bend by myself which probably explains why it was wrong. No longer an issue... So all stuck together in pretty much the same look as 332 in the pictures I've found of it. Time to mask and squirt it And the replacement troublesome conduit that Dan and Bill spotted and were kind enough to point out Thanks Dan and Bill for saving me from an annoying error! Regards, Mark
