We are among the curious that want to see what's inside be it cars, a taped up box, closed doors, planes or tanks. Thanks Tony lee Oh, I've got the curiosity to wonder what's inside...I just don't have the patience to show other people what's inside!

Nope Dupes i'm working on two StuGs, one Elefant, one Jagdpanther and this Marder II. It was so cold this morning I switched to the Marder and did some detail painting so I could install the fighting compartment walls. I love to entertain. Tony lee

Looking Sweet Tony! Nice work my friend - impressive! My OLD Tamiya Marder II has a basic interior with some added detail and also has that big tube looking thing monted on the inside right hand fighting compartment wall - what is that? A Rangefinder? A BIG Bugle? The Friuls look great btw - nothing can beat az set of well made Friuls when it comes to pimping a model! I'm impressed that you have FIVE builds on the go and can easily jump around between them. Alan (the bloke who leads my group) is building three Trumpeter KV variants side-by-side which actually makes perfect sense as he's only going to have to bust out the airbrush once to do basecoating then he can have one kickass weathering session! You said you are "working on two StuGs, one Elefant, one Jagdpanther and this Marder II". Are you planning to do the same sort of thing ie basecoat them all at the same time and so on? I've had an 80% completed Willys Jeep (Tamiya) in my cabinet for bloody ages now - one good weekend will see it done as all it needs is the interior and wheels painting followed by the decals and a bit of weathering and staowage adding. I'm planning to build it as a 'Battle of the Bulge' Ardennes recon jeep so I know it will come in very handy for a little dio at some point which is why I'm holding back on it for now. I'll be interested to see what the final build looks like as I'd like to go back to my Tamiya Marder II and do a bit more with it. Have you decided on a scheme/markings for your Marder yet Tony? Keep us posted - I'm really liking where this is heading! Btw - you lot can keep your bloody crappy weather if you don't mind. It's a relatively balmy 6 degrees here today and there's not a breath of wind so it feels really nice outside! Enjoy your snow and ice fellas! Cheers buddy, Ben

Ben if you're referring to that spittoon lookin thing that's the Bore Brush holder. No I don't paint them all at one time because I vary the color shades to much, I paint them when I come to that stage of the build. The paint scheme is the early 1942 panzer grey with just the basic German marking. That's it Tony lee

That thing is a destructing device, normally it has a lid on it when stored like this, when the gun had to be abandoned, the small part fits in the breech, under the lid is the ignition device and it blows the barrel of. The same you see with some abandoned jagdtiger when the barrel lays in front of the vehicle. I have a picture of it somewhere but I can't find it for the moment.
