Dupes- Thanks buddy!
I used Realistic Water and Water Effects from Woodland Scenic. Did four steps... 1. Pour Realistic Water mixed with Mig sand pigment (many thanks to Todd for great suggestion!). Allowed it to dry overnight. 2. Create waves using Water Effect... fun part zig zagging whatever! Allow it to dry for several hours. 3. Again pour in Realistic Water mixed with sand pigments. Allow it to dry for couple hours. 4. Finally pour in Realistic Water again without sand pigment to top it off.
Glad you liked it... I found it fun!
Mr T- Thanks my brother... you have been so helpful along the way! I owe you couple of booze... can't we make April in Auburn come sooner?!?!?

You are a true master of your craft my friend. Another absolutely beautiful composition. I love how you use figures to convey scale. The water is phenomenal too. Congrats.

Thanks my good friend!!! It has been fun... it is funny how it came out as I didn't plan that way. You know me and my personal rule... include figure in all builds if possible so we can have better idea of its true size. I was lucky on the water... LOL

Andy mate....really outstanding modelling!! The composition of this diorama has left me gob smacked...oh man, where to start?! I hope those seagulls fly ASAP from Oz and land right on those wooden poles...the bird "stuff" is such a great extra detail. This one will be winning some prizes Andy, mark my words!! Shay

Shay, you are way too nice... thanks!!! LOL I can't wait for the sea gulls to arrive... I am torn between a sea gull or a pelican. Need to find out if there are pelicans in German first... LOL
Hope it will do well at upcoming shows... it will be fun even tho!

Thanks bro... glad you liked it! I was fortunate I had the best seat in the house at Mig's workshop 3 years ago at AMPS Nationals in Auburn. Watching him work helped me understand and I have one of his FAQ books... great stuff! See guy in blue shirt behind Mig? That's my sign language interpreter! LOL I checked his website and I don't see video clips how to use his products. I am trying to remember where I saw those helpful clips... Here you go Andy is this what you're looking for. - www.youtube.com/channel/UCK0GcediTfRsVsedEpJkr8w/featuredwww.youtube.com/channel/UCK0GcediTfRsVsedEpJkr8w/featured

Wowhow, now that I call a cool weathered object! Lovely the boat, lovely the surroundings, the water, the small details (mud and grim on the metal steps p. e.!), all fits together perfectly. One minor thing I personally would add: a seabird sitting on one of the wooden sticks for a colourfull spot. But with or without the bird, this is exeptional, well done and great!

Thanks Frank!!! Glad you liked. It was FUN build for sure. Funny how it didn't come out what I had planned for this but it was worth it! Yes I agree with you about a sea bird... I already ordered a set of sea animals and birds but unfortunately it takes 2-3 weeks for it to be shipped all the way from down under Australia. I couldn't find it anywhere except in Europe and Australia. The set is from Mantis. They I am really hoping it arrives in time for the model show on the 15th. Glad we think alike!!! www.ebay.com/itm/301386531721?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITThanks again!

Same thoughs? Did you expect anything less?? But I am wondering that the Mantis sets are so hard to get in the States, that you have to order down under! Have you seen the new set with DEAD ANIMALS? Creepy but well done; I guess, I will pick up one of them for horror base ideas.
And isn´t it strange when all comes out as planed? Sadly, that does not come up often (at my builds that means, I often change designs whilst building and sculpting. But this can result in a better project nevertheless!)

LOL! Don't tell my wife I didn't just order one set but ordered three sets... Dogs sets and farm animal sets for future builds. LOL I saw that dead animals I thought it was nice but little creepy. My wife will not approve it!
