Thank you all!! 😁😁😎
Update time:
I think this might be the way to display the planes. Allows a natural and organic feeling way to still see a good portion of details.
Frame going together for plane camouflaged cover
Frame complete and mud down. As you can see from the pics, at this stage I have mixed the acrylic mud product with the real dirt. After application, I also added tire marks.

kyledehart5handiabledTJ - Appreciate it! The camo net will be black with a mix of RLM 2 I think. Nearly impossible to tell from black and white photos what the real coloration was.
Tonight I’ll be adding static grass which will really make this come to life.
I can’t take all the credit though. Much of my success can be attributed to my helper -

Thank you both!
More progress:
Primed the whole thing in black. If you’ve not done this before, it adds depth to the diorama. Similarly to preshading an aircraft.
Primary paintwork is done:
Tomorrow I will do detail painting and dry brushing. These will be the final steps for this part of the diorama. Afterwards I still need to paint all the figures and other supporting items.

And that's how it's done right there! I can't get over all of the hard work and attention to detail that's going into this whole thing Keith. I apologize for not being in here as much lately as I've been working on a ton of things behind the scenes here at MSC but I'm glad I looked in here today and saw all of this. This is some mind blowing stuff right here!! WOW!!!
Congratulations on the featured build from Eduard on that A-7 too. What an honor that is!! Well deserved Keith.....well deserved.

First off a huge congrats for the recognition of the A-7 by Eduard! Well deserved for the excellent way you crafted it together! Your diorama keeps getting better and better with each addition added my friend.

keavdog406 Silveradokyledehart5 - Thank you all very much for your interest in this build throughout the whole process. Also, thanks to anyone else that frequented and supported me.
Last night I officially completed the build. I got a bit carried away and took like 41 photos. All have been edited and are ready to post. I’ll work on getting a post put together for the gallery sometime today.
Got your individual builds for the Butcher Bird Group Build in the completed builds for the Completed Builds for the Butcher Bird GB thread now Keith. Magnificent work bud.

Hey Keith, I've been meaning to comment on this for some time - but that's been slipping away from me the past few months. This turned out fantastic. The planes are top notch and the kudos from Eduard is well deserved. Making a diorama is sorta on my bucket list of things to do, but never seem to get around to it. LOL Anyway, my only question is one that really doesn't matter anyway. I just wondered how these two would find themselves on the same airfield. But I suppose there are probably many hypotheticals - and then there's just the "I don't care, it looks cool." Again, great finish. I really enjoyed watching this come together and learning a few things along the way.
