Taking a little break from the mud and heavy metal with a WWI bipe. No need to get into to how good the WNW kits are but they are as good as everyone says. I also thought I was going to meet an entirely different crew here in the wingy section. Yes there are some new names but it's mostly all the guys from the armor section too. Where do you guys fond the time? To build AND post in all these different sections? i can't even keep up with my main interest, Axis armor. Inside fuselage painted and washed. Seat and ribs starting to get done I've lost the PE fret so can't do the belts yet 'til I get a replacement from WNW. Anyone have customer service experiencing with them?. Plenty of other sub assemblies to work on while I wait. I am making a wood prop for this build. I have all the steps photo'd so far and will post that all later as an SBS if anyone cares to see it.

i seem to remember a time long ago in a far distant place this guy by the handle wing nut that built some a/c. he did a dang good job with them as well.
good to see that guy pick his way through all the armor every now and then.
looking forward to the prop sbs.

Yeah yer'll find it's the same guys in here as elsewhere Yeah you're not kidding. Why not just have one gigantic section and make it an all subject free for all. Sorry for the late acknowledgements but the 2 prong sickness going around these days had me knocked on my a$$. No small feat let me tell ya But think or all that are gonna be looking in. Yup, I think I recall doing and aircraft or 2 in the past Moving forward in the fuselage I got the next bulkhead done with he fuel tank and magazines. Are they called bulkheads or formers inside a fuselage? You would think a "wingnut" would know that Started in on the engine too. hard to see in the pic but the valve rockers arm springs that are nothing more than tiny pegs on the cylinders where replaced with springs made from copper wire. A little dry brush will make them visible down the road. Before you all jump on me about the ejector pin marks[whstl] i am adjusting my philosophy from, "I fix them because I know they are there." to, "If they won't be seen they won't be fixed."[ ]

I share your philosophy on ejector marks...if they can't be seen, who cares? Saves a lot of time, putty, and sanding sticks let me tell you. Very nice work on those internals Marc, very nice.

Again, I have to agree with Gary. What sound does a falling tree make when no one hears it? Who can see epms hidden inside a fuselage? Great job WN

Good news biz is great right now and making some bank. Bad news is bloody tired at the end of the day and it is sorely affecting bench time. But I did manage to get some... finally. Some more cockpit work done, finally got the belts made and installed. I was also waiting for the little spark plugs to be delivered to install in the cylinders. These are little gems from RB Motion. they sell car model details. these are the smallest plugs they make at 1/24 scale. But with the cylinders drilled out a little so they sit a touch deeper they look great.

Thank Bill Joe, I am more worried about breathing too deep and having one of those stuck somewhere is a sinus cavity Small update. Glued my twisted hair thin wires into holes drilled in the magnetos with a #83 bit. gathered and stuck into the end a some brass tube and the spark plug connects finishes off the wiring.

Did you hire some kind of leprechaun to be able to do something so tiny? Those wires are gorgeous and perfect...
