Hey guys. I got a good start on the base over the last couple of days. Cobblestone street made of cork cutouts. I'll add plaster "grout" soon. Should look good. This is the second time I've tried this and I like the way they turn out. With the model. I also started a garden wall to add some flavor. I finished the topper for the wall tonight but don't have my cam handy. I'll post some more pics later. I plan on just throwing some texture paint on the wall and going for the cement/stucco look. Of course I'll have to dirty it up quite a lot with moss and whatnot:). This has been fun, but I need to get it done cuz I've got a few other builds planned for this year and soccer season starts Monday . Let me know what you think. Cheers

what a dirty piece of armor, and I like that! Like the cobblestone idea for the base as well, will suit the T-34 well I reckon! Cheers

Base looks good Nate, very nice layout and the cork certainly does the trick for the cobbles.

Haven't checked in on this one in a while - it turning out great! If you don't mind, I'll steal the cork-as-cobblestones idea - Needed some inspiration for the roadway of my current WIP dio, and i think that's perfect .

By all means, noll, use it:) It works good and turns out looking pretty realistic. It does take quite a bit of time however:) Steve: I will prolly do another T-34 in the future, though it may be a couple of years:) I got none in the stash and 40 other builds to finish before I get more:) Thanks to the rest of you! I appreciate you looking in:) Update: Got the wall done and affixed and the stones filled in. Close to paint on this. Let me know what you think.
