Good to hear mate.............i got one bit to fit but it means taking the ferkin` bottom cowl orfe!!!! .............ferkin` don`t fancy that!!!!!!!!.....................gotta do it tho coz it`s the ferkin` gear shift , might look a bit bloody obvious without it As for ya wheels...........yeah i like shiny....but....sometimes darker is more `moody`, depends where ya wanna go, ya could always drop her down 2mm ....ONLY KIDDIN!!

Chaps.
Boots, yer right mate, unless ya modelling the new improved automatic YZR, that cowl has gotta come orfe! The wheels are a tricky one, I might strip them and try a different colour combo but for now, the kit ones stay.
Dicky, thanks matey. It looks like it might be fairly successful as a build, I reckon I might be bold enough to call it an 18 inch build so certainly one of my best ones. Friday will come round soon enough, prepare to be underwhelmed...,

Mence, I think we should challenge Todd to have a clean build and give him a reward for it lol

Chaps. Thank you. ER, I don't think T will take me up on that one! Jeff, improvise, adapt, overcome. Right, breaky offy bits attached, body slipped into place and screwed on....then removed as there was an ominous rattling from inside where something had parted company. Anyway, some swift glue action and here we are. Will pop a couple more pics in the gallery shortly. Just leaves me to say, thank you. You guys are the reason this forum is a runaway success, you make it what it is, a fine place to be, long may it continue. Next build late December... M.

Thanks very much Luigi, it's a pain having to wait that long but the kit isn't released in Japan until 30/11

Realistically 1:6 is the closest I will ever get so it will have to do!

Excellent job in completion Mence. That new 1:6 H-D looks nice, it comes with a 1:6 price of the real one too I have the new LaFerrari and the accompanying detail sets sitting in Japan waiting on some other year-end Pre-Orders to come in for Christmas (I hope).

Really nice finish Mence,
The colours you've chosen work really well together.
I'm looking forward to seeing the HD Fat Boy.
Best Regards
Keith.

Chaps. Brother Gary, thanks very much. As for sexy, it's a close run thing between you and the HD Jeff, thank you. The HD is nice and expensive but as I build so few kits a year, it's a price I'm prepared to pay. The La Ferrari looks very nice, are you going to build it online for us? Keith, hi buddy, thank you. I'm fairly pleased with the outcome despite the bodywork coming out a totally different colour to that I had envisaged. The HD is looking so tasty I really can't wait, still need to decide on a colour, I think it's the '13 model that comes in Black, Blue or Red, I like the Blue, if Zero do something in their range close enough, that's the colour I will go for.

Shoot I think my Stash Manager says I have 247 unbuilt kits at this point, and I'm not done shooting box art for the kits that aren't in the system yet. I'm not sure there's enough space on the internet for me to build all of them...not to mention I need to finish like 7 a year to get them built before I figure I'll be too clumsy or blind to accomplish anything

Mence, an other fine build to add to the case. This car has got to be one of the best looking ones out there, both yours and the 1/1.

Chaps. Jeff, thank you matey, you're very kind. She is an attractive vehicle and I think Tamiya have got it pretty much spot on considering the smallish scale. Dicky, thanks mate! It's come out fairly good but in the cold light of day I reckon it's not a 18" build, probably nearer 30. The colour I'm more comfortable with than when I first laid on the clear coat, at that time, the "oh ferk, it looks like the hull of the QE2, how am I going to strip this lot off" thought was occupying my head but over time I have got used to it and with a carefully chosen interior colour it looks about right. As for the forthcoming FatBoy, I'm giddy with excitement, it should be pretty special (the kit, not my build) and should be a hoot to put together if I can stay calm and not rush things.

I'm a Wide Glide Guy myself, but that looks awesome. I know it's too soon to tell, but have you given any thought to the paint work? To me, one of the reasons this bike looks so sweet is the low gloss finish.

Oo Jeff, spoiler alert!
I really like the semi Matt finish of the black one but was considering something a little brighter, the 2013 model I believe comes in blue and red.
I haven't made a firm decision yet but I fancy the blue.
