Mighty fine job, Bill. Decaling can be boring, especially when you have to place all those small fiddly bits, but it really brings the plane to life. This is a true masterpiece, up to the highest standards of the hobby.

Leon, thanks, it's the price to be paid when dealing with AC markings. It could be worse, it could be a modern jet!
Lui, much appreciated as always! I agree the decals will be a little tedious but will definitely add to the total detail level so it's worth it in the long run.

50+ decals?!?! Yikes! That's why we deal with WWII armors. Modern tank had 30+ decals last time... LOL
Man, your 109 is looking FANTASTIC now with all of those markings on. Hope you are enjoying this so far?

Thanks Leon! Andy, yes those AC guys love to put a stencil/instruction over every little hatch and port! It's been fun but I'm about ready for it to be finished. The next task will be bringing out all that lovely rivet and panel detail.

Bill... looks really great. I think you're ready for a 1/32 F-15... I have to say I do miss the decal now that my aircraft are pretty widely spaced. Always loved those looooong decals sessions.

Thanks Marc! I doubt you'll see me tackling anything like a 1/32 F-15 anytime soon! You must be a masochist if you miss the decal sessions...

LOL, did some of you counted them? I know they must have wanted a count to be done, otherwise why would they have included the 1-9 individual decals for the fuselage?

I'm with Marc... I love decaling (when they're good decals, anyway).
Looks great! Africa schemes are awesome on 109s.

Thanks Dupes! The Trumpeter decals were relatively easy to work with. The larger decals needed several hours with the Solvaset doing its thing to get them to snug all the way down into the panel lines but that's not unusual IMHO. CB, weathering is going to be fun with this one for sure...lots and lots of rivets! As for another challenge, you should be turning your attention to getting Dicky to build a wingy.

Thanks Ian!, have to agree with you there. In 1/32 scale you can actually read all the stencils if you've got the Optivisor handy. Dicky, he DID ask for a challenge... Joe, thank you kind sir! I hear you about the decals making/breaking a build. Especially when using Solvaset...you're really committed with that!

Bill, I always enjoyed lurking your armor builds at the other forum and I'm glad to see you using your talents on a wingy. I've always love Trop 109s and guns is nothing short of inspiring. Keep it up!

Bill.....I reckon I've got more chance of winning MoM,than getting Mr F to build a wingy of any sort....so that means slim to none...but it ain't gonna stop me trying,eh?

As you know i've been kinda busy and forgot about your A/C build and thought I better check on you. I see you've added more dickels/decals which really added jive to it Tex,nice work. The roll out, when ever that will be,is bound to be a knock out. Tony lee
