Can't believe i missed the last photos!! After seeing the start of your bust i thought to myself "it's time to scale up and have a go myself!" Excellent painting Guy, I would love to see some more pics of W.C from various angles if that isn't too much too ask?! Congrats with your first bust!!

Thanks guys, your words mean a lot to me, you know ! Shay, I have a 1/35 French tank crew (WWII) on my bench for 2015. Scaling up is nice, and scaling down sometimes too. Why don't you join us in the project "Busty Art" ? It's a group bust painting initiative, fun garanteed with fellas like Deafpanzer and TRM ! *still have to find my beret, it's becoming a tradition wearing it during the bust projects with Andy and Todd (to be honest I look forward to see what they will wear !)LOL Almost time to move on to the rest of the bust...I gave it already a first oil paint layer of Prussian Blue (first time I use this blue) + Lamp Black + Zinc White. Best regards and have a great weekend ! AG.

He is looking very Winston Churchilll like!!Thanks for the extra shots mate, kicking myself that I didn't get him at the last expo...was going for 30€, twenty something cheaper than the usual price. I use heavily diluted Prussian Blue from Vallejo for an unshaven look, too much and the figure will look like it's done 10 rounds with Iron Mike! BTW enlisted to the busty group yesterday, two busts...double the trouble!!

Hi Shay, that's good to know mate, glad you joined in ! Two busts...COOL !
I will make more pics of different angles once the head is completely done, and with good daylight, the last head picture sucks.

Don't forget about the beer too!!! LOL Damn, it is mind blowing what you can do to the bust... definitely one of your best work ever. Can't wait to see more work on the suit...

You're toooo kind gentlemen ! Today I didn't have much time for paint slappin' action but the eyes' irises were finished with another gloss coat. The cigar was given a wet look (mmm sexy !) as Churchill was a fanatic cigar chewer. The hair needs another session to finish. Best regards ! AG.

Thanks me mates ! Today I applied a lighter and a darker Prussian blue mixture to try to create depth in the folds. My favorite brush is this one, it creates the softest fadings possible (silky smooooooooooth) : Tomorrow I continue slapping da paint.
