Love that light red skin colour on the face, it is perfect! The whole face is so mindblowing I cannot tell (the eyes are amongst the best I have ever seen). Would be curious how you would paint an Alien or some kind of Monster! Keep it coming, Mate!

You've captured the slightly flushed look perfectly AG, looking good!

Maybe ONE small idea: What do you think of a very small red/orange cigar tip to represent the heat in there? I thought of some cotton for smoke but, hm, not so sure...
Presentation is top on, the square base looks cool exactly the way you will present the bust.
All in all museum quality my friend!!

Thanks for the tip Frank, the cigar tip has an orange glow but it's not popping in the eye. I'm glad you like the base and its use. Churchill was not just losing his hair, it also was turning grey, so that was today's job. I also finished up the butterfly. The head was glued onto the torso, I found a small gap but it was easily filled with Milliput. I will repaint this part of the neck tomorrow. The chain of the pocket watch is the last job to do. The eyes need another thin layer of gloss but that's easy to do. Best regards ! AG.

I love it.
I find that your idea of placing him diagonally makes him pop out of the base, as if he was leaning.
A true masterpiece

Love the update AG, head looks right at home. Nice subtle graying effects on Winny's remaining hair as well. He needs Just For Men and a Hairclub membership as a bonus package.

Masterful painting skills!
IMHO.... stay away from the fake smoke. Never looks good and you don't want to take away from what you got going there.
